Rock Star taking players money

Played gta 5 ever since the game came out had 5 million + gta money that I saved up overtime and a modder droped me 3 million the other day and now rock star removed almost all my money. Want to find out what's going on and why all my money was taken and not just the modded money?

That's what you get with this stupid Online obsession nonsense. The Gta Series was historically Single-Player and never should have been poisoned with this braindead lemming "Online multiplayer" garbage.

 

What do you honestly expect from the kind of company that Rockstar has become nowdays? Unfortunate that some have to learn the hard way!

If it's that big of an issue, then I'd suggest you e-mail support. See if you can get them to give you a voucher code for a shark card.

I think you're playing on last gen which is more easy for hackers or modders to succeed.

I believe players around here might also suggest to switch to NG as well.

There is no sense in contacting R* Support as you won't get your money back as you're money was taken away for picking up modded money as R* has implemented a Anti-Cheat device which detects when you pick up a large amount of money in a short amount of time.

My friend preordered and upgraded his GTAV copy to PS4 and he didn't get the promised $500k in Online mode. Not in PSN, not in anywhere. And once again he's done playing that game.. lol

The case here is that you're f*cked by them. You earned legit, modder gave you money, but you got wiped more than what given by the modder.

OP: rockstar support. Anyone who has a problem like this and walks away from the game before affording Rockstar the chance to fix it is an idiot.

Some of us fail to understand that: nothing, absolutely nothing in any game is actually OURS, except the items itself (disk/package and package content and the purchase receipt)!

The same applies to any Game Console! Only the item itself is OURS, but if we don't agree to their "Terms of use", that items is only as good as a ... paper weight!

Reason why we must accept "The Terms Of Use" of such console/game/product, before we are allowed to use/play it and then be disappointed.

The only way we may try to stop the game developers from taking anything/content from any game, and/or selling up crap, is to ... STOP BUYING THE GAMES/CONSOLES!

Only then, will they try to produce a better, more reliable product!

This is "R" fixing problems >> :karmaeater: << These are the endless problems arizing!

Joined a friend, looked on the map to see what's happening, and most of the lobby is in the same place, so I head over, and unsurprisingly, there stands Mr modder, dropping cash.

 

Naturally, some fell in my pockets. About 400k.

 

Next day, I'm jammin about with a buddy, randomly hit down on the dpad to check monies, and I'm at 16k....?

 

Obviously modded money removed.

 

 

Seems there is more to this anti-cheat system than some would have you believe.

Had been told previously not to bank modded money, I followed that advice.

 

I think the moral is, if given modded money, spend it quick.
