Why don't R* open the remaining character slots.

R* must have had some shelved ideas for the extra Slots; maybe they were planing on letting us Play as Michael, Trevor or Franklin Online?

Yeah, its a stupid thing R* forgot to fix and just forgot about. who would really play consistently with 5 characters? 2 is hard enough, 1 lvl 408 and 1 lvl 91 i dont even touch anymore, shes hot though.

I think the extra slots have been shelved as they certainly don't appear on the PS4 (not sure on Xbox One) but still

exist and are locked on the PS3.

 

Rockstar probably are too lazy to remove them from the Ps3 character select screen, I would like to be able to make

use of those slots though but its bad enough having two characters on three profiles at the present time.

It would be cool if they were your NPC characters you can use for missions/heists instead of playing with randoms lol. Would enjoy doing missions much more ;D

There's not 5 slots on the Character Swap screen on NG, but are there in Character Creation, i.e. the old Birds n Bees background screen? I haven't been in there.

 

ETA - also, nothing to say there can't be more people in the line up.

It's 5x30, a total of 150 Adders.

I guess the others were going to open when both slots 1 & 2 were high enough? but of course we use slot 1 more than any other so they dropped the others? as who plays on slot 2 that much?

No. You can make two lvl 1 characters back to back.

I hope they do open more slots because I enjoyed levelling up my alt character and hustling higher levels with a rank 32, but now she's 121 I'm considering deleting her and starting again.

I fail to see the point of having soo many slot though, I only play with my main character and use my second character for the "change your appearance glitch" to keep working until I decide if my character looks close enough like me.(Something I believe will take ages since I play on PS3)

There is no "birds and bees" character creation screen in NG. Character creation is done inside the police lockup where the character selection screen also takes place.
