Offroad wheels, stock wheels, racing

"It's already been proven". "I'm not arguing with the fact...". "It's been discussed and determined". I've never seen any facts. You guys are basing this on a series of videos made by some basement dweller.

Sorry. I'm done now.

What "facts" would you like to see? The only facts possible are the results of testing, yet when those facts are offered, you choose to ignore them and be insulting.

If you choose to ignore the facts, that's fine, but go be ignorant somewhere else. Once again, I remind everyone that this thread is not about the befits of Offroad whels/tires.

Excellent, this looks promising. Theicide im def interested.

Banshee and corvette classic will be that much better......some days the corvette spend its time trying to kill me for my bounty....it plots, schemes and waits for just the right the time...police chase or cliffside road....then BAM massive spin out. But corvettes entire rear end has been glitched invisible, very strange the license plate and tailights float in mid air... But yea, its a love/hate relationship.

So whats the consensus on buying off road stock wheels vs highend or whatever class the cars wheel fall in? Or about custom tires? Anything else to mention?

K i have something else to bring up...off topic i know but im gonna drop a lil secret that others are gonna argue w me and say its common knowledge.....

Ever heard of 'double clutching' or whatever its called im not a petrolhead....basically hit the gas and once the car is about to shift into third, let go the throttle, tap the handbrake, then get bach the throttle.....this should give a pretty decent acceleration boost.

Banshee is the fastest car in a straight line w this method and good timing. Watched a vid a while ago...no link no proof oh no!!!...of a banshee beating a zentorno to the end of a runway. Its pretty amazing, the car leaves skid marks all the way thru 3rd and is nearly at top speed within a block. I avoid it when i have a randumb passenger after ome one asked if i was modding....

I will try and test stock wheels in each category. I will post my results here when done. Might take me a few days to get the results though.

What ever happened with the testing ?!

Well, i started doing some tests: same cars (rebel-casco-massacro-zentorno-zion) on same tracks (two off-roads, sand and grass, and one asphalt).

I will report back my findings in a few weeks. But so far, with only the rebel done, i honestly think that off-road wheels do handle the kerbs better and still get that "boost" feeling after the kerb.

All off-roads seem pretty much the same, the stock ones of the off-road category as well.

One thing is obvious is, as Broughy prove, grip levels seem exaacly equivalent with all wheel types. Maybe R* will implement some more coding for the wheel grips in the future like they did with the spoilers. But right now i see only off-road beeing slighly more effective, and the custum tires migh be the only ones that give a tiny more grip.

I'd like to know about other tests tho. How you've tested the wheels/tires, what are your finding...

Cheers
