Which game had the best interiors, and why?

 

Im just gonna say that, i think they are equal somehow, and each one has special/unique interiors.

Vice City has less interiors, but each of them look unique.

Vice City Stories has a lot more interior, but too much of them are strictly similar.

 

Moreover, I like how small interiors were available without loading. It's maybe a small thing, but it's cool for the immersion.

 

But the main reason why I prefer VC interiors, it's because they're certainly the most iconic of the franchise. The Vercetti Manor, the 3C apartment, North Point Mall (ok, it's still open in VCS, but I prefer it in the original VC), the lighthouse (I remember how stunned I was when I found out that the lighthouse was open !), the Malibu etc …

In comparison, VCS interiors look kinda bland and forgettable.

i think Clymentus Suite was the best mansion to date of entire gta series. the view from the windows, helipad, the place it was on.. everything about it was really awarding to me.

I think Vice City interiors were more detailed and i also loved how they changed during the game (your hotel apartment got changed as you progressed through the game, after that RC helicopter mission there was the helicopter's box to be found in the mansion etc.).

yeah, too bad that they've dropped that tradition after vice city, cause when you completed elburro's missions in gta3, magazines were appearing in front of your safehouse's door..

yeah but if they gave you everything from vc then vcs would become a giant game. and nobody ever return to original vc and play it.

They both have very well made interiors, unique to each game.

Vice City Stories has more interiors but i just love Ocean View Hotel , so Vice City is my choice.

I prefer VC interiors to VCS interiors. I felt they wasted too much time making the empire interiors than making good quality ones that you can go into, such as the Malibu and Pole Position.

VC interiors, because it's what R* originally wanted. VCN interiors were fine, but they looked so clean just because they wanted to limit the size of the textures to minimum for psp.

Voted for VC. It has the Ocean View Hotel, Pole Position Club, Vercetti Estate, Malibu Club of course and most importantly the Skumole Shack:

 

 

It's also in VCS but you can't use it as a safe house like in VC.
