iNero
We’re hosting our first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, CA on June 14th and we’ve saved some seats just for you, our fans. Feel like a celebrity by attending our most exciting event yet, live and in-person! Keep an eye out – in the coming months we’ll be sharing details on how you can register to attend. Can’t make it out to LA to join us? Don’t worry, we have you covered. On Twitch.TV/Bethesda (Follow here), you’ll be able to tune in on 6/14 and watch every moment live! http://bethblog.com/ This is HUGE. They wouldn't hold their own conference (for the first time ever!) if there isn't something big comming. I'm pretty sure DOOM will be shown to the public for the first time and either FO4 or TES6 will be announced. Dishonered 2 is also possible, but the chances for FO4 or TES6 are way too high to ignore them now. iNero
I doubt it'll be another TES game since Skyrim only released three years ago. My hopes are high for a Fallout 4 announcement. released 2011. E3 is in june so we can say "almost 4 years" later. Skyrim was released about 1 year after its announcement. So with an announcement at E3 the final release date would be about 5 years after the launch of Skyrim. Either way I think that the fans are more interessted in a new FO at this point. GTA3Rockstar
I doubt it'll be another TES game since Skyrim only released three years ago. My hopes are high for a Fallout 4 announcement. It was just under two years between Fallout 3 and New Vegas. So it can be anything. Plus TES:O will come out to consoles 5 days before E3. I can see a new Fallout being announced, or Doom

RedDagger
But NV ist basicly a standalone DLC to FO3. No...no it isn't. Anyway, it's likely they'll be alternating if anything, so if it is TES or FO then it's likely to be FO. However, there's many other things they could show as well, so I wouldn't get your hopes up

iNero
If TES or FO I wonder how the maps would look like. As much as I loved the atmosphere in TES and FO, it felt really empty. Skyrims towns were way too small and FO locations too. Although it makes sense with its setting. But look at the Witcher and Novigrad. That town is real huge. I'd like to bigger towns in TES and FO too. They'd hopefully cut last gen consoles. Then this should be no problem. For FO4: Gunplay and physics are probably the things that imo need the most work. A FO game with Far Cry or BF gunplay would be amazing.
TJGM
I just hope they improve the AI in someway, the AI should actually take cover and the steal system still needs a huge overhaul, it's terrible in both Skyrim and Fallout 3/NV. There was an interesting discussion regarding AI in games recently on reddit. FEAR had amazing AI which still seems to be better than most games today. The thing is that most casual gamers dont want to wait for enemys to come out or their flow be interrupted. Apparently many gamers would be annoyed by a rather smart AI. Thus devs dont see the worth of developing better AI which would need quite some ressources and money they could use for other features.
Th3MaN1
No. If anything, they should fix their f*cking bugs. I know Bethesda didn't make New Vegas, but because of some f*ck up (100% not from me), I couldn't complete 2 missions without using console commands. And Fallout 3 crashed for me. A lot. TJGM
Never understood why people would prefer dumbed down "run and shoot at the player" AI, that stuff was impressive 13-14 years ago. It breaks immersion so much when I get into a gun fight in Fallout and all the enemies start running off in random directions while some crouch and shoot at me and then when they get on low health their best tactic is to run in a random direction. Also, I just realised I misspelled stealth in my last post, I said steal instead. Either way, both systems need a huge overhaul.
iNero
Yea. Stealth like in Far Cry would be really cool. As much as I dont like FC3 (havent played FC4 yet), the gunplay and stealth was really good.
TJGM
Stealth in Far Cry 3 was too easy in my opinion, you literally made no noise even when stabbing an enemy. That's the problem with modern stealth games too, noise is no longer a factor when trying to be stealth. Anyone remember the original Splinter Cell trilogy? If you moved too fast while crouch and someone was near, you'd be completely screwed. You had to move slow and find the patterns in which enemies move. Most stealth games now (splinter cell too) you can basically sprint while crouch and you make no noise, it's so easy. Eurotrash
And this is a big deal...? They probably just want to promote their new mmorpegah, The Elder Scrolls: Online Or maybe they just want to let us know they are still alive, and don't actually have anything new to show. They wouldn't be the first, not naming any names... Rockstar. Edited February 10, 2015 by Eurotrash

It wasnt a proper new installment which is why I said "basicly" a standalone DLC. You can define it how you want, but thats what it basicly is... You are hilariously wrong. It was a proper new installment and there is literally no way you can justify the standalone DLC claim without looking silly. You're welcome to try, though. iNero
C&C Knes's Wrath was a Standalone DLC. You can compare C&C3 with FO3 and Kane's Wrath with NV. Just because they dont advertise it as an Standalone Expansion, it basicly is. Just like BC2 Vietnam was an expansion to BC2. A proper new game would include some major new mechanics and gameplay improvements. E.G. GTA3 -> GTA:VC -> GTA:SA While they still had the same feel, the improvements with each title were huge enough to actually call it a proper new game. But R* is too ambitious to call VC or SA GTA 4 and 5. The jump from 2 to 3 was probably the biggest in the series. 3 to 4 was the HD era and 4 to 5 still was a big jump even though it wasnt as big as with the other games. Ballad of Gay Tony or TLaD were DLC but you could have sold them as standalone though. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is another example. It was a Standalone DLC even as it had a totally different theme/setting. Again: Just because they did not advertise is as Standalone DLC, thats what it is in my eyes... If it would have been a proper new game they would have called it FO4. Well, the noise you would make while crouching would be minor in the jungle. There are way too many other noises around. In FO you would be right. At then end Splinter Cell was a stealth game at its core. FC3 was not and FO isnt either.
