I go to the gun range - on my own. And shoot, I shoot a fair amount in the game but it doesnt seem to be increasing my shooting level, where as my driving is way up.

Does anyone know why?

Or have tips on how I can level up.

inb4 SHOOT!

Play Survivals?

I havent unlocked survivals yet :( only level 26

I'm sure Boneyard/Industrial/Sandy Shores are unlocked from level 15 onwards.

Loki_The_Coyote

Play Survivals?

that's how I did it...

and you should have unlocked them by level 26 I'm almost 100% certain..

the boneyard is probably the easiest as long as you know where the hiding spot is... at least in my experience.

oh.. and I think I remember I had to answer a call from ron for them to unlock... pretty sure it was at level 15.

Yeah you guys are right, I have to wait for Ron to call. I called him but it said I have to wait for him to call me.

The magic number is eighty (80). Tested.

Eighty hits on target will incrementally increase your Shooting skill.

I tested this by creating several characters and allowing them to remain dormant, and regressing their Shooting skill to zero (0/100, or five blank, empty bars). Then, I went to the gun range with one character and participated in some gun challenges, checking Stats and Skills at different intervals for an increase. Upon the eightieth hit on target, there was a visible, albeit quite minimal, increase in Shooting.

Tested another character with consecutive headshots in missions. The number, again, was eighty (80), and the incremental increase was visibly the same as the gun range character.

So, I'm thinking that it doesn't matter, as long as it's just a hit on target.

Every eighty (80) hits on target will net you a visible increase in the Shooting skill, and to fill one bar, I believe my estimate of 1,200 hits on target to fill just one bar (20%) of the Shooting skill is not too far off.

So, yeah, Survivals are good, as there are waves of enemies to facilitate this.

Just keep playing, you-'ll get there eventually. I'm not great shot, but still got there. Headshots are always good.

Didn't knew that the skill regress, is shooting the only one affected or others too?

All the skills regress - it takes quite a while, however.
