Weapon cache

I think a weapon cache would be a good addition to this game either in your apartment or ammunation or even both its purpose would be to store weapons and weapon add ons that you dont use reducing the amount of weapons you have to flick through on your loadout an only carrying what weapons you want

A weapons managment fix in Gta 5 is long over due and probably will never be improved. Single player is even worse as no weapons can be dropped.

A weapons cache would be a good option. From apt,car trunk,or ammunation weapons could be assigned. Multiple selections for each slot would allow for more than one of each if desired. So i could then carry no hand guns but 3 different assult rifles if i desire.

An option to turn off auto pickup of weapons but allow for ammo pickup is also needed.

This would be a good idea. I don't want the Tommy gun or basic pistol but yet it's in the wheel and one extra second of scrolling while getting shot at

Scarface: The World Is Yours had a simple weapons storage system that I'd love to see taken after someday.

Since you could only have three guns on you at a time, (four if you bought into the Defense investment), most of your weapons would be placed in your storage either in your mansion or the trunk of your (wait for it) personal vehicle.

I understand Rockstar's hunger for being innovative but there's nothing wrong with borrowing good elements from other games in the same genre. The weapon wheel can be a little cumbersome sometimes - and would benefit from something like that. Weapon storages could even pave the way for weapon hotkeys to quickly switch between preferred weapons on the fly.

This would be nice for sure, but even nicer would be an option to turn auto pick-up off. I keep my weapon wheel pruned to only what I use (aside from the limited time weapons I want to keep) and having to dump a pile of SMGs, non-AP pistols and assorted sub-par ARs and shotguns after every mission is getting tedious, though it is also kind of a funny little ritual I've gotten used to...
