This is how GTA V on 60FPS will look like :D

Since I've been playing the console version for so long, seeing V in 60fps makes me more excited for the PC version.

THIS is why you should prioritize frame rate over visuals, developers. Just use this video as an example.

I prefer maxing out my settings just so I can say "I have this game maxed out on my PC!".

Bragging > performance.

That's a fact.

' I play GTA V on ultra" you

"CSB, fps?" me

'27' you

"top kek you must really like to roll around in sh*t" me

Really Its best to find a happy medium. I would drop the graphics down if it was running slower than around 45 fps but I play BF4 on ultra at 122 frames so I think I should be ok...... for now

Oh guys...

What about checking this another video from the same guy?

Too me it looks very, cartoony in the video above.

Not a surprise. You can't get more cartoony than a bright red Adder with a shiny purple underglow.

Unless you also slap chrome onto it...

:p

I've done no such thing. You misinterpreted the "You" in "You can't get more cartoony" as me addressing the person I was quoting, not the concept of getting more cartoony.

It's the same as saying "It can't get more cartoony than *".

On the off chance that you're talking about the person in the video, I fail to see how I've done any judging. I just agreed with maddog and added my own assumptions as to why it looks so cartoony.

Also

such edge much wow

Crimson Flam3s

"I turned on the "Slow Motion" cheat and set it to the maximum (level 3) and recorded some footage. I then brought it into Vegas and tweaked it until it ran at normal speed and rendered it out at 60 frames per second"

In other words:

Source: 30FPS Gameplay at 0.5 speed

Speed up 2x and you get

Output: 1.0x Speed and 60FPS Gameplay

There is NO interpolation, he simply doubled frame speed being able to achieve 60FPS, but OFC, you need the slowmotion cheat, otherwise it'll look all fast.

This is nearly perfection, interpolation actually looks choppy as f*ck.

OT:

Looks gorgeous, can't wait to see this being true on PC.

Can't believe everyone missed this and started bashing the OP lol dumbasses.

Looks good but a bit unnatural which doesn't surprise me seeing as we don't know the actual speed of the slow motion.

I ahve to worry you, this is not how 60 fps looks like on PC or any other platform, it's not as smooth as here. This post from another form sums it best:

"If you watch a video at 60 frames (i.e., pictures per second), each frame/picture will be displayed for 1/60th of a second. Depending on the playback software that you are using, you can expect this time period to be relatively constant. In contrast, if you are playing a video game, each picture will typically be displayed as long as it takes your graphics card to render the next one. The human visual perception is very sensible to small differences in these display times (jitter), causing the motion to appear to "stutter" more than a video where each frame is displayed for 1/60th of a second. Note that this scenario only applies when your graphics card renders as fast or slow as it wants/can, i.e., "VSnyc" is off. When VSync is on, i.e., when you force your graphics card to output as many pictures per second as your monitor displays (say, 60 for a monitor with a refresh rate of 60 Hz), all frames will be displayed for the same amount of time, but there may still be some stuttering (when your graphics card is very slow; out of scope here). However, it may still be that you experience a game with 60 frames per second to be not as smooth as a video. But this has nothing to do with the way the video is compressed (e.g., a certain video format like H.264) - unless there are very severe compression artifacts. What comes into play here is how the video has been recorded. If the camera recorded the video with 60 frames per second, the "movement" of objects between two frames is blurred due to the way capturing works typically (no details here, but the term motion blur has been mentioned in other comments, if you are interested). This kind of blurring looks quite nice/familiar for a human (to simplify), and it is this slight blurriness that is missing when your graphics card typically renders frames for a video game (note, however, that some games have options to simulate this). Therefore, you might find the video playback smoother than the video game at the same frame rate."

tl;dr:

60 fps recording is NOT what 60 fps of a graphics card rendering looks like. Sorry to burst your bubble here.

No, this is not how real 60FPS will look like. This interpolated nonsense allways looks like a stupid soap opera, way too fast like some cheap motion plus setting on a crap tv. Real 60FPS looks more natural and not this "speedy".

This guys says it best :).

GTA V w/ ENB (iCEnhancer etc.) is going to look insane.

The game itself is boring - just like GTA IV - once the story mode is done, only the mods keep the game(s) alive IMO.

I'd like to see what this looks like during firefights moments.

That one did look really awesome, especially in how the rocket just flies away in the third scene.

But I meant with guns, like assault rifles, against cops or something.

I don't need caps to read your text =)

BTW, that was just for fun...

People have been asking this question many times, but they seem to have not even read the requirements properly.

what's funny about these videos is that the players showed 60 fps before Rockstar did lol love when we beat them at their own game

This video has been floating about for a while and is probably the worst I've seen. The horrible motion blur is offputting and you can tell it's slow motion. It's so sloppily done. But there are some slow-mo 60fps videos out there that look real good.

xD

There is no compression, but the enlargement makes it sh*t, I haven't wrote it.

Just screencap and PS.

Have to post something On-Topic...

Well, 60 is smoother than 30.
