lol232
Since I've been playing the console version for so long, seeing V in 60fps makes me more excited for the PC version. THIS is why you should prioritize frame rate over visuals, developers. Just use this video as an example. I prefer maxing out my settings just so I can say "I have this game maxed out on my PC!". Bragging > performance. That's a fact. arvark, Jago and Kampret
Streifenkarl
No, this is not how real 60FPS will look like. This interpolated nonsense allways looks like a stupid soap opera, way too fast like some cheap motion plus setting on a crap tv. Real 60FPS looks more natural and not this "speedy". Crystal3lf
This is not how it works. At all. You can't just convert 30FPS video into 60FPS, all it's doing is doubling the same 30 frames into 60FPS video. Imagine seeing a stickman. In one frame he has his hands down, and in the next frame he has his hands up. Lets call this example 2FPS. Now to make this 4FPS we can see the stickman going from hands down, hands slightly raised, hands even more raised and then the last frame completely raised up. 4FPS. All this video has done in this example is make the stickmans hands down in 2 frames and up in 2 frames. Completely and utterly useless. Yes it is double the frames, but each double frame is redundant. You might as well tell people they can download more RAM while you're at it. You can't magically gain 30 frames. I could convert a 30FPS video into a 100000FPS video. It doesn't mean anything at all. REDDICE
I just barely reached the recommended settings for this a game. If I don't reach max 1080p 60fps, I might actually turn down the setting to reach those buttery smooth frames.

Either way "Motion Plus" and all this stuff is garbage and i cant understand anyone who likes this stuff. I cannot stand this. i hate this with passion. Whenever somebody wants to watch a movie with me with this stuff i decline, because i cannot look at movie or game which gives images where there shouldnt be. Just thinking of something like this interpolation on a movie like "Once upon a time in the west" or "The Godfather" makes me cry. People who use this stuff are the same people that stretch 4:3 movies to widescreen, because they want the whole 16:9 tv to be filled with the movie. Thats the other absolute no go for me, people who f*ck with the aspect ratio of movies. Edited February 10, 2015 by IchliebeDeutscheland

Sentrion
That was a good setup for attaining 60fps but I think PC version will have more optimization if it comes to high end gameplay. Framerates always a higher role to play, not just a huge modded rig. My PS3 runs at about 40-50ish and I haven't really tried ultra settings on PS4. BS_BlackScout
"I turned on the "Slow Motion" cheat and set it to the maximum (level 3) and recorded some footage. I then brought it into Vegas and tweaked it until it ran at normal speed and rendered it out at 60 frames per second" In other words: Source: 30FPS Gameplay at 0.5 speed Speed up 2x and you get Output: 1.0x Speed and 60FPS Gameplay There is NO interpolation, he simply doubled frame speed being able to achieve 60FPS, but OFC, you need the slowmotion cheat, otherwise it'll look all fast. This is nearly perfection, interpolation actually looks choppy as f*ck. OT: Looks gorgeous, can't wait to see this being true on PC. KuraiShidosha
If it looks sped up it's probably because we don't know the actual slow motion speed so when doubling the playback rate to hit 60 fps he might be going slightly over normal speed. But the framerate in this is proper 60 fps. BS_BlackScout
TheSun
I don't know if this video is very accurate or not but I am damn sure that it looks exponentially smoother and more fluid than what I played in the Xbox 360 .This just increases my hype. Really and it's not even stable 30fps omg.I mean I don't really notice the difference between 24fps and 30fps.Considering this I am in for a treat.
