In other news I bought a camper van from pegasus for $15,000 for a future meet.

It's about as slow as stevedogg51 on a Sanchez.

Shame we can't buy the newer looking camper vans and not just the old rusty piece of cack.

Saturday 2nd May. 2300 UK / 1500 PDT / 1800 EDT / 1700 CDT

 

Over the past few months the Sanchez has seen action negotiating the urban playground in Sanchez in the city and taking part in multiple events testing the bike and rider in the Sanchez Olympics.

As a result, its off-roading prowess has been yet again confirmed (it was never in question!) but theres an area where it is yet to shine and prove itself; racing!

 

Yes, there are Akumas, Batis etc but dont discount the Sanchez. While it cant match the superbikes in sheer power, its combination of safe secure handling and relative good speed means it shouldnt be discounted.

 

To prove its worth, join me as we take the Sanchez racing, starting with races in the city before following the Motorway/Freeway from West Los Santos clockwise through Paleto Bay and Blaine County before arriving back in the city for the final race.

 

The races will be conducted on sections of motorway with minimal excursions off-road. Off-road sections are only used to enable the flow of the circuit.

 

All of the circuits have been designed to be as free flowing as possible with minimal slow sections but of course therell be plenty of jumps!

This is raw Sanchez racing so therell be no custom bikes allowed, so the racing is as fair as possible.

 

If youre relatively new to the Sanchez or biking in general, then this is the event for you but if youre a competent rider who knows how to throw a bike around then this is also for you!

How to join in...

Please leave your GT after reading the rules in the spoiler.

One rule I will stress is there will be no killing or blowing up of any personal vehicle whatsoever either before or during the event. If you attract the Police, please dont engage them. Instead, try and get Lester to lose the cops or simply commit suicide. (the cost of suicide will probably out way the cost of ammo to fight them)

I will kick you if I think you killed or destroyed on purpose.

Once the event of declared over; you can go on a killing spree if thats your thing.

2. If you don't arrive to a meet on time, I will add a player from the reserve list. Invites will normally be sent out 20 minutes before the start.

 

3. Please do not overtake the lead rider. It's usually good form to ride in pairs if the route allows. (if you want to free roam, why join a meet?)

Respect other players; yes it's GTA and anything goes in normal play, however The Sanchez Experience runs on people enjoying the meet and abusive behaviour will be result in you being kicked out of the meet. if anyone is kicked, their Gamer tag will be passed to the organisers of other off-road meets and will probabaly be banned as a result.

 

5. Please don't rock up in a Bati or Nemesis etc. Sanchez only.

 

6. You need a working microphone.

 

7. Remember to brush you teeth after meals.

 

8. See terms and conditions.

 

9. Open Bank Holiday.

Feedback:
This wasn't really a meet...it fell in the weird category of an event but not totally. There was cruising (well, racing) between each event, which were done in Content Creator, so I appreciate and enjoy the "cruising" between the races instead of constant game invites. Yes, I would of wanted actual cruising instead of an impromptu race but each created race were a good 3-6 minutes so the quick-paced racing between each game invite was a good call. Plus, it left those with an itch to race/practice a chance to do so instead of f*cking up in an actual race. It gave the players a chance to know how the Sanchez reacted to different things such as tight turns, bumps, etc. I actually had to buy a Sanchez for this meet so having those moments of getting the feel for the bike is a great plus. The races themselves (in Content Creator) were fun and well-thought! I think it was race 4 where we're near Fort Zancudo and there's a ramp jumping across a bit of swamp and onto the bridge - just amazing!

The tracks all felt the same but varied from one another, making it an endless playlist. Nothing was "too far out" but different enough to keep you entertained. I could tell Yello didn't slap checkpoints and called it a day. He looked at a location and made a course, added objects and even made crossing sections which I thought was brilliant! The one with the faggio's (called guest racing, featuring other bikes than the Sanchez in some selected races) with shotguns was one of the best. It would of been totally different if it was Sanchez only with shotguns but the fact everyone was so slow to not kill you in two seconds was surprisingly fun. I think it's the first meet event that includes killing that I've enjoyed.

I'm a bit bummed that these were races as the photograph in me wanted more pictures and you can't take pictures in created races but I'm glad that I took a backseat to experience the races. Now I just want to slack off, show up and just race! I'll definitely keep a lookout for the next one.

Also, congrats to troops for getting the fastest lap in most races and winning the later races. Still mad that I was on the Sovereign bike and was about to win a 3-lap race against other choppers (faster than mine) but troops, on the last corner, steals first place from me! Ah, but good racing. You should get a special mention or a prize, for sure. In fact, congrats to everyone for playing the races and being good sports. I had such a good time and it wouldn't be as fun if it wasn't with the group we had.

Feedback:
Thanks cactus for a great meet. I'm a big fan of the content creator and loved the time and effort put into each event (even if it meant i had to ride a sanchez).
The races were fun and its a nice change to have some friendly competition.
I struggled to keep up for the majority of races, for some reason i could only choose, a standard pink sanchez ! (im sure this was karma at work).
I loved the race around paleto, so well done and some great challenging turns. The bridge race was also amazing but frustrating, i sucked big time at it.
Would like to thank the other guys in the lobby for making the event, the banter between Tick and #hashtaggle was great to listen to. Apologies guys for my input. I'm never the loudest on the mic, but i was particularly quiet last night, not sure what was up with me, a mixture and concentrating on the events and illness.
Looking forward this becoming a regular thing.

I didn't get a lot of pics, my capture card crashed at times, but i will take some from the video i recorded and post over the next few days.
