WorldTimeBuddy.com that link should take you to the times. Unless people are using some wacky and weird time zone and they aren't actually on the ones listed on the converters, everyone should just move to the UK for the 13 June and we know exactly what the f*ck we're on.

 

(I know what the issues is...all of my meets are either 2230 or 2300 start but I fat fingered 2400 on the opening page - time zones still piss me off though)

My mistake this time for fat fingering 2400 instead of 2300 but the last time the times were actually correct

 

 

You converted the times for when the meet happens which does use BST. Right, my numbers are off. Will correct them in a minute. Thanks for that.

Yeah, last time my times were off as I had no clue GMT had BST. For this one I had second doubts of my times but glad it wasn't my mistake as I try to make the times perfect. Thanks for the correction.

I also hate times, especially when daylight savings comes around.

For Future meets , I'm going to quote both the normal time zone and daylight saving prefix. Ie GMT/BST . If some one asked me what time zone I'm in, I would say GMT. But technically its BST at this time of the year. Although GMT/BST is not chronologically correct it's easyer to identify with.

 

I'm using the timebuddy app on the iphone, for conversions you can use specfic places or zones to convert times it's simple and easy.

Using both times for timezones would be complicated, to be honest. GMT should be labeled as BST - that way members can understand their timezone and how they change with others. I remember when I used to do Forza meets I never used daylight savings. It would only look like I was hosting earlier/later than normal but I felt "wrong" by not using the real terms of the timezones as some timezones don't have daylight savings, making patterns in meets unpredictable.

I don't use any other site except worldtimebuddy, it's so good. Sucks that GMT and BST aren't paired up - you have to enter them by themselves.

The C2C2C is still going ahead as planned but i'm adding an extra event for next Saturday;

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something else

2300 BST / 1500 PDT / 1800 EDT / 1700 CDT; Saturday 6th June

To celebrate my birthday (self indulgent I know, but any excuse to have a meet! ,

i'm putting together an evening of Sanchez riding.

I'm picking out bits from previous meets and adding a few new bits from future planned meets.

At the moment it'll go something like this

We'll meet up in the City and cruise to the first event which will be 'The Golden Gate of Hate', from there we'll do a couple of races from the Sanchez Racing meet, an event from the Sanchez Olympics and a couple of new challenges, 'A-Maze-ing race', 'Figure 8 of hate' plus a couple of other bits and bobs.
