CzarJazz_CJ
I recently updated my windows xp to windows 7 (x86) i have directx9.0c compatible sound card, creative sound boxes. My pc can run gta san andreas well with sounds, but vice city plays no sound. When i start the game , and at the main menu , i can hear beeps(sounds while moving cursor from one option to another) but in the game their is no dialogue, vehicle, firing sounds at all ! Can this be fixed ? If yes, then how ? [P.S: there is no audio settings in the game either, the "audio settings" option is black. No actions if i click it. Which means i can't even go/change/lookup my audio settings :'( ] Edited February 10, 2015 by CzarJazz_CJ

Girish
Are you sure it's a legit copy? Because from what you're describing, it seems you have a ripped copy of the game. In ripped versions, audio (cutscenes, radio, etc.) is removed in order to reduce the size of the game. If that's the case, then there's nothing you or we can do to fix the game. You'll have to buy a legitimate copy of the game.

I remember them being just separate wav files in a folder, but I'm probably wrong as it's been ages since I had the game.
