NPC Modified & Rare Vehicle(& Bicycle) Mega Thread

The reduced spawn rate for custom npc cars is sad. They could have at least increased the rate for those cars that cannot be stored, if all they really wanted to do was cut down on players making money off them.

 

I'm still having no problem spawning custom Sentinels though. Made this little clip a couple days ago.

For some reason i can spawn them really easy with my Zion coupe between 22:00 - 04:00hrs, i just drive around the block and when i come back up and go left, bingo there it is . Very easy to spawn 5 or more this way, always spawn some for my friends in the session.

Oh and just found a Matte Light Blue Albany Buccaneer outside my apartment. Colour is not in the matte list, but on comparison with Metallic and Classic it's Light Blue. Looks pretty cool with it's black roof and Anthracite stock Wheels.

That's actually a wheel color. Baby Blue, I think it is. Assuming we're talking about the same car, but the point is, there are Buccaneers that spawn in that color not uncommonly.

I just do like this and its like 50% chance it spawns for me in denial of service (no speed limit )

After hours of searching for a Dubsta 2, I finally managed to spawn one with the help of a friend. I put it in my garage then put full coverage on it, then I get off for a bit but when I got back on the Dubsta "lost" it's color and the gold rims are silver. This has also happened to the Yellow spawned Sentinel where the red rims revert back to silver (Only Once). The car still sells for 23k in LSC looking like that. Is this a known issue or? I'm level 59 and on PC.

I've never seen this happen on PS4 (or heard of it happening). Maybe it's a PC-specific issue.

I can get those Surrano's to spawn frequently but can't keep them

 

For the Dubsta 2 that's lost it's colour's, the next one you find (use that to spawn it) will keep it's colours. I only ever get the colour loss on the first car stored of that type. Had "alloy" colour rim's on the first of my Blue Sentinel's too.

 

Also Nixxi would you be interested in helping me grab a Dubsta Gold/Chrome???

Haven't been back in this thread recently, but I found a spawn location that I've never seen before in online - I've seen the same car spawn in the same location in SP though.

 

Found the lime green Voltic (pink wheels, carbon hood) spawn in the parking lot adjacent to the Los Santos diner (down the road from the Sentinel spawn and Eclipse towers). It was just interesting...I've seen supers spawn in there before (Infernus several times), but never a modified car.

Yeah, this location in Online has been known for quite a long time. I believe it only works at night, for modified cars. I believe that the only modified cars I've personally seen there are the Voltic and Rapid GTs, though I'm not sure if there are others that appear there or not.

It just seems to be rarer, but it still spawns. I got a yellow one around midnight earlier whilst driving a jacked Sentinel.

Do you find the dubsta doing thisSince the update that removed the Dubsta 2's from spawning near the intersection close to Madrazo's, that LSC at the end of that route has been my main source for rare cars (+the area near Eclipse Towers). I have seen Dubsta 2's spawn there, and the black and yellow Ruiner, the blue and green Ruiner, the yellow Sentinel XS, the blue/purple Sentinel XS, the ultra blue Dominator and others. 1/2 day after pc was relased we had texture/models READER so why not this?

 

You should do research in Mods sections meybe someone did an "ecryption"

You couldn't encrypt models and textures without needing an extra core or two just to work on the stream while you drive around. An XML file however is trivial to decrypt on the fly. If I cared and could it, I'd dump some memory and look in there, but I'm not a geek, I just wrangle them

The Chrome one was a different colour to the Gold one? If so chances are it can happen again

Does the Dubsta 2 only spawn in DOS now or does it still spawn in free Roam what's the best way to get the dam thing to spawn

Is there any other missions they spawn in

It spawns in front of LSC in Burton and at the airport between 9:00 and 16:00. But chance to spawn it are reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally low. Unless you have it already or your friend has one, then spawning one is fairly easy. It spawns both free roam and in mission locked at 12:00

The Chrome one was a different colour to the Gold one? If so chances are it can happen again

 

 

Add another i at the end. And yeah they're both different so chances are it might happen again. :\ So it might be best to wait till they fix it (if they do). Also does anyone know if customizing a Dubsta 2 mess it up/revert back to Dubsta 1? Or no matter what you put in it, it will always stay a Dubsta 2?
