NPC Modified & Rare Vehicle(& Bicycle) Mega Thread

Hiya guys,

 

I am a brandnew registered user, however I have been stalking this thread from the beginning of GTA V (I play on PC).

 

Now first of all, I wanted to tell all other PC users to add me in-game (same name as on here) if you need any of the following cars as I'd be glad to help you guys out:

Blue Sandking XL,

Yellow Sandking XL,

Declasse Voodoo,

Modded Ruiner,

Sabre Turbo,

Gauntlet,

Ratloader

Sultan or

Phoenix

 

Now that is out of the way I wanted to share 2 discoveries of myself which MIGHT not be new, but I have not seen them in here:

 

1. I found a "gang" Tornado in the 'purple'-gang area. However, this Tornado was not purple. It was a uniqui color as first color and the top, which was soft top, was silver. This car pulled out of one of the parking lots close to the circle where the purple ones spawn. I know this is a gang car because of the hooks on the left and right of the hood. (I am obsessed by Tornado's and was looking for gang cars for my collection.) I took pictures of this car with my phone camera, these pictures saved but I cannot find them. If I go on Social Club I am unable to find ANY picture, so any help in that department is welcome so I can show it.

 

2. I found a new spawn location for the Sandkings, both yellow and blue. They spawn between 10 and 17, this is not exact but close to it. I learned from my past mistake (pictures on phone) and tried taking a screenshot on my computer. However, that didn't work either (I am too lucky eh) and thus decided to take a picture with my iPhone (excuse me for the low quality, better than nothing). I inserted pictures of both the trucks and the location.

I have been unable to spawn the following cars:

Modded Sentinels at the Eclipse Towers, I tried at the right time multiple times but they don't spawn for me.

Dubsta 2, golden or chrome edition. I swear to everything that is holy that I drove 4 hours of real time past the Los Santos Customs and the only modded cars that spawned were Ruiners, Rapid GT's (which you can't store) and modded Sabre Turbo's. This one is my personal favorite.

Modded Dominator at the Los Santos Customs in the middle of Los Santos, barely any spawns and definitely no modded Dominator. To be fair, I have only tried this Los Santos Customs for 1 hour real time.

 

Lastly, I wanted to hear you guys out on someone's video. He posted this 6 days ago. He claimed that if you drive in at a certain area on a Sunday by 12:30 and killed 3-4 NPCs by 13:00 a Duke O'Death would spawn. Now I tried it out, and it did not work as the NPC's simply did not spawn. I admit that I was taken by a little bit of greed and blinded by it, but I want to make sure it wasn't bad luck but that the car actually does not spawn? This is the video:

 

I'd love to meet up with all PC users on here and would enjoy helping eachother finding the cars we still need and really want. I also want to excuse myself for the low quality post, but I am learning and thought sharing this, even in a low quality, would be better than sharing nothing.

Yes, figured as much after I did it. Too bad it took me some time, on the bright side I found the Sandkings that way. You win some and lose some.

I have managed to spawn my Gauntlet, an unmodded version, in front of the Los Santos Customs at the airport.

There are four extra gang cars. The silver soft top you've found, a mettalic green buccaneer with matte lime pearl, a blue hardtop tornado and a different purple Manana.

 

My favourite of the storable special cars is certainly the worn green sabre turbo, it's boss.

When I hunt the blue/purple Sentinel XS or the yellow one I use a muscle car. My experience is that it works just as well. Normally I go in my Vigero or my Dukes.

If you are refering to the list I made to help people, those are not all modded cars I listed those because I saw some people had issues finding them! Sorry for the confusion!

Elfoam already pointed out four of the other gang cars, but he forgot the worn dark red Peyote. There are five of these "unaffiliated" gang cars. They are all described in the first post.

 

The second spawn point for the Sandkings, the dealer lot across from the LSC near Sandy Shores, is well-known and I believe is now considered to be the primary spawn point for them.

Sorry about that. I had not seen it in the first post for some reason. I had not seen anything about the Sandkings, but if it is indeed a well known spot I guess my added value is nothing. In any event, I can still try to help people find one of the cars listed.

The Sandkings are mentioned in the first post but I don't think the new spawn point that you're talking about is included there. I think that's only been mentioned in more recent discussion here.

@KENNITHH Nope. The Dubsta2 is another vehicle in it's own vehicle slot so the regular Dubsta doesn't affect Dubsta2 spawn rate. For now I can help you with it on PS4 only, I tink I'll be able to manage it on PC in a week or two. But for me it's pretty rare even driving own Dubsta2. And the chance to find it in 12:00 locked missions is about the same as in freeroam.

The chances may be the same, but because the chances are low, it makes more sense to try it in a 12:00 locked mission because then you can keep trying indefinitely. In free roam, you have less than a half-hour of real time to look, before the time in game gets too late. Then you have to wait. In a time-locked mission, you could literally keep trying for hours and hours.

Yes I read about the missions. I looked the ones up that locked in at 12:00 but, eventhough I have done them already, I cannot put those missions in a playlist (they simply don't pop up) and when I give Lester a call he gives me all the jobs, except the ones I need.

Oh my god! You're right! I always did it by trying to create a playlist!!!! It works now! Thanks!

 

EDIT: with that trick I found the modded Dominator, did not find the Dubsta 2 though and I searched for hours. I am simply coming to the conclusion you need a Dubsta 2 to spawn one as they don't spawn otherwise. Thanks for the tip!

Okay so I went NPC car hunting last night.

 

I'm a little annoyed with Rockstar for cloud server issues but a trusted friend who I have played with since the original PS3 release

called me in game last night asking me to urgently join his session, I tried and couldn't get in, when I did eventually get in he

informed me he'd found a new spawn at Rockford Hills LSC.

 

It was the Coil Voltic but it was in Race Yellow with a different set of parts fitted from the Lime Green one.

 

Does anyone know if there is a yellow one in story mode?

 

Add he didn't think to stay with the car but if he sees it again he'll try and capture a pic.

Third driveway of Grove Street down from Franklin's Xero Gas garage and the gang area.

There's three spawn points for those cars now (scrapyard is gone on ps3 too by the way).

 

Currently there's a driveway in grove street, the auto shop just past the bridge on your way to shambles street and outside the scrap yard (was working on ps4 release but not sure now). For me the easiest spawn is the auto shop, I get all mine there. Driving one of the cars will give you a 100% spawn in the mornings but you may not get the car you were after, depends on what is spawning in traffic too.

No, I've never seen a yellow Voltic. It would not surprise me if it's true, though.

 

Back when the SP-MP glitch was still working, I did a LOT of car hunting in SP, and during that time I came across two cars I'd never seen before: the matte dark red & gold Turismo, and the pea green Alpha.

 

There still may be that purple Coquette Classic that was posted earlier, even photographed, but so far seems as though it's only been seen by just that one person that one time.

 

It's also always bugged me that there's only one each of the custom Dominator and Gauntlet. All the other custom cars (not including gang cars) that I can think of have two versions each. But there's only one Gauntlet and one Dominator. Why? Are there actually two...but by now, surely they would've been seen by now.

One thing is in my mind and I can't just shake it off. There is spawn for Sentinel XS, Surano etc, so my question is: what if each car we can find in front of LSC has it's own spawn? It's obvious, that they spawn in front of LSC, but maybe they can be found elsewhere? Just my thought, that I wanted to share and discuss with you guys

Some cars do have known spawns elsewhere.

 

The Sentinels spawn in traffic near Eclipse Towers. The Rapid GTs, the Voltic, and...something else I forget, can spawn at the train car restaurant a few blocks east of Eclipse Towers. The Infernuses can appear in traffic. The Sandkings can (or at least used to) appear being driven away from Ammunation in Paleto Bay. The Dubstas can (or at least used to) appear being driven up near Martin's house.

 

All of those are in addition to appearing at any of the three city LSCs, except for the Sandkings which would appear across the street from the Sandy Shores LSC.

 

As for the others, if they have other spawn points, I haven't heard about it. It wouldn't surprise me if some do.
