Attempting to get gauntlet from Diamonds are for trevor. Was wondering if this car is unique, or am I just cycling through regular guantlet paint jobs?

 

First one i found was lime green with a dew yellow pearl, then a buncha silvers, before i found a yellow one.

It's matte Orange and has a unique pearlescent which can't be purchased at Los Santos Customs. It takes a while, me and my friend got two of them earlier today. The first one took 10-15 tries, the second only took 2.

10-15 tries, as in # of times we had to quit mission to get the right color to spawn, NOT the # of attempts to get one out of the mission....

 

 

You dont have to quit the mission. If you don't find the right color, kill yourself and restart the mission.

 

Also I found that the Dark red manana and Orange Emperor have unique colored rims if you set them to custom. Unsure if this has been already documented (although it probably has)

 

Many times. The Manana has matte dark red rims that you can't buy, but the Emperor just has regular LSC orange.

You are just cycling through regular colors that Gauntlet can spawn in.

Can anyone explain precisely what is going on with the mottled texture pearl on the gold Dubsta 2? It doesn't go away with resprays and afaik it's the only vehicle with this 'feature'.

Yes, the Manana and Emperor wheels have already been mentioned. The matte Dark Red Bison and Jackyl also have the unique wheel color.

Yesterday i jumped from session to session, tried also different invite only session but i never found a rusty Tornado in "Level 10". I think it is hard to find. But if you drive around in Sandy Shores doing the Mission "Chopper Tail" you will find the yellow ratloader with lots of rust driving around.

I drove to next LTS near the Ammunation at the east(the corner where NPC modified muscles spawn) started,quit. During the loading Scene the Emperor disappeared but appeared again...And as i quit,it was there:D and i could insure it. bam

That means you were with a random, hence you werent alone. You didn't complete the mission solo.

 

The reason you can't finish that mission solo (and others like it) is because at the end is a cutscene. If you get into the cutscene with the emporer nearby, it'll despawn after the mission is finished.

 

 

On another note though, does anyone know if its hard to find a level 0 Rusted tornado of any color? I have one that's black.

Ah ok i thought it's needed to have a friend sit in the car so it doesn't despawn like dunno the purple Speedo

Edit: Also,the Purple Baller etc. from Death metal, and the Green Ballers at repo also disappeared as another random finished so i avoided the cutscene

 

A question: The Parking Garage, Matte Grey Baller.. Any Special Pearl there? worth the effort to try?

Is this a rare color on this Buccaneer? I've never seen it before, and I found it parked across from Legion Square. The primary color doesn't show up under Classic, Metallic, or the pearlescent (did the pearlescent glitch). Any ideas, or is this a common spawn and I've just always missed it? The secondary is gold.

That Buccaneer has nonLSC Champagne pearlescent, primary Gold too. Pretty common spawn as whywontyoulisten already said.

afaik There is no way to get rid of it unfortunately other than to hide it with a bright/dark color. I'm thinking the car model itself contains the spotted texture and theres no way round to remove it. Edited February 19, 2016 by JoonasPRKL

As a quick side note to other rare item collectors, the game is currently delivering the Scorcher mountain bike in metallic silver. Not sure what R* have been messing with to change it but grab one whilst you can!

 

 

I bought a Schorcher due to this comment, and true enough, it arrived in silver at the time.

But now it's black, for some stupid reason. I never even rode it. Rockstar, you're breaking my balls here.

To me it just looks like the car was painted, a leopard print was laid down and then the car was cleared. It's always looked like leopard spots.

Its like it's dirty. i asked it already,it's on the Dub2 and military vehicles,once painted.look at this on my Insurgent

I was able to get a couple to spawn the other day. Just drive a gang Peyote around Cypress Flats. Most of the time I see them right around 14:00-16:00. I can help you if needed...PSN is wagon92x
