Jackass, 2 things:

 

1. Whywontyoulisten is the one that basically brought to light this method on using 2 people to get mission cars out, so YOU don't be a dick.

 

2. You pathetically have 10 posts on how to get the worn orange Dominator out of a mission? ? It's literally the most common or 2nd most common worn colored car that spawns in freemode. I sometimes see 4-5 of them within 10 blocks of each other.

 

Not trying to be a jackass, and in my first post I started by saying that I'm a little dense and confused on this topic. Why is everyone in this forum so touchy?!? I was under the impression that there was a difference in the secondary between the 4-5 of these cars that you sometimes see within 10 blocks of each other, and the secondary on the car brought out of the mission.

You must be trying to do this after picking up the briefcase, this disables storing vehicles in garage but you can counter by blowing yourself up and it will then allow you to store the

car (providing it's not despawned)

 

Thanks for the quick response! I'm sorry i'm a little dense. Could you explain the exact steps? Do i not pick up the briefcase? How do i finish the mission if I don't pick up the briefcase? When do I blow myself up? After I have completed the mission? I tried cleaning the car in a job circle after finishing the mission, but that didn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

If you store the vehicle in your garage during the mission, the secondary color will not be crew, it will be the standard texture. The secondary color only becomes crew if you complete the mission in the car. Just finish the mission in the car (get the briefcase, drive the car into the yellow marker) and you will spawn into free roam inside the car, which now will be listed as having crew secondary.

You need to do a trick to be able to store it. There's a solo and a two people method. Drive and park the car where there are no open areas like a parking lot or something like that. I recommend a street where there are buildings around. Inside the car, launch a mission and then come back to free mode when in the lobby screen. (try to be as fast as possible). If the car doesn't despawn, drive the car into a survival corona, get out and press the right d-pad to launch it. In the lobby screen come back to free roam again. If the car doesn't despawn, you are free to store it in your garage. I've tried several times with that Dominator and it hasn't despawned so far. It seems that the location where you launch the mission is the most important step. At least this is what I've noticed doing this trick.

I assume that the 2 person method is to get your friend to watch the car so it doesn't despawn?I'm assuming this Dominator you're talking is the one that spawns at Lester's warehouse. You need to do a trick to be able to store it. There's a solo and a two people method. Drive and park the car where there are no open areas like a parking lot or something like that. I'm assuming this Dominator you're talking is the one that spawns at Lester's warehouse. If so, you need the trick to be able to store it. If it's stolen off the street, just finish the mission in the car you want.

or on another thought, what if i finished a mission with say, the rare ratloader (which is a beater that has a pearl) would it change the color? Or does that only work for secondary colors...

I believe with the Voodoo it may be pointless. Unless someone finds a way to do this with the primary.

well, i've been getting voodoos from the mission "chopper tail" so im wondering if the texture would be different if i were to finish that mission while driving one, (if thats even possible) as opposed to just driving it straight into my garage. I had read somewhere on here, that you can get any non PV to have crew colored secondary texture if you finish a mission while driving one..

El Estúpido's car sells for $18,5k. Used that trick in order to be able to store it. Parked the car in the main street in Grapeseed and then used the survival in Sandy Shores.

Anyone got any idea how to get the yellow or could be light orange worn paint Gauntlet. Never seen anyone mention it here so maybe no one knows it exists. It appears in 'Diamonds are for Trevor' & is sometimes one of the Gauntlets that's parked on the side of the road just outside the entrance to the gas station in Peleto but you can't save it or bring it out as you have to drive the boat. It also sometimes appears in the Capture Hold 'Run Rabbit Run' as one of the Gauntlets parked outside Hookies but even if you finish in it you spawn back without it. As far as I can tell it doesn't spawn in free roam at all & I have never seen it in any other mission or anyone with one or it ever even mentioned anywhere.

Cool, It might take a few attempts to show up as most of the time its a silver or two tone black Gauntlet that spawns.

Awesome, I tried to replicate it but have never managed to get the colors right & the original always seemed to have a more worn texture to the paint.

Yep, Gauntlet can spawn in Matte Orange with a Matte Orange(nonLSC) Pearlescent.

A bit random question JoonasPRKL but do you have a list of Ruiner colour spawns, I'm having trouble deciding which colours to keep and thought you might have the

list?

Just a quick tip for the cars that have bright matte pearls. Putting a say dark orange custom crew colour will give you a very impressive heavy flake paint job on that gauntlet. The matte pearls look very fancy done right.
