His status read as dodgy. He was able to stay in the lobby and play with us but once he left and tried to come back he was put in the bad sport lobby. Supposedly from what I've seen in videos (I think I remember reading in patch notes it was changed?) you don't actually get kicked from the server when you get a bad sport sentance. You stay connected to the lobby but wear the dunce hat, and once you switch servers (Start a new mission I think, get kicked, change servers manually, log out, etc.) you connect to bad sport lobbies. Last night I've played a couple of hours and didn't go too well playing missions in a loop (I tend to stay in a group and just do mission after mission). Hosts were either in China (nothing bad, but not too good for connectivity); afk; automatic mission selection went to Team deathmatch etcetera. So ended up in free roam with quite some other active players.. with active I mean.. hunting down other players. (about 50% in kuruma's, which did not help them much) I might've blown up 6 to 8 personal vehicles in a very short period of time. Destroying vehicles is never the goal, but happens nonetheless. Okay.. that one proximity mine I placed an hour ago blew up someone's car.. but rather than that.. most of my bad sport actions.. can't be prevented. (that playing with other players causes you to lose 20-30k by insurance, well.. still kinda off) I would really like to see something as a indicator how far away you are from being a bad sport. What other actions makes a player a bad sport? (only have seen the message after blowing something up) Leaving missions during play or something? size_m Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 yes leaving jobs counts to that as well (at least used to). i've read that you can keep the dunce cap when saving it as a saved outfit while wearing it in bad sport. after that you can just choose that saved outfit with the dunce cap again but cannot combine it with other clothes. Like people fight with their Karumas and Insurgents all the time now. You also pay for destroying a car, is that not punishment enough? Finally, what is the reason to buy Hydra then, if you are not supposed to kill other players. Mind those players are ok with fighting as well, or they would go passive.
