[HELP] skin selector mod for san andreas v2 always crashes :(

I installed cleo 4 and got the skin selector mod, but whenever i use the mod my game crashes. I reinstalled the game but nothing happened. It was same problem. I wanted to play as S.W.A.T but crashes made me irritated. Please . . Is there any way to fix this?

uninstal the game and re instal the latest cleo folder: http://cleo.li/cleo4/CLEO4.zip and the latest skin selector: http://gtafiles.gtainside.com/downloads/ftph/1397548419_Skin%20Selector.zip

V2? I don't believe that mods work with V2 of San Andreas. You'll need to downgrade if that's the case.

i have cleo 4 as i said before. and also have the latest version of skin selector . i've also reinstalled the game but it is the same problem :'(

(if you downgraded it this means it's v1 not v2 )

 

tell me does the game crash when you change skin or in the loading screen ?

 

if it crashes when trying to change skin check if that line "IMG CLEO\SKIN.IMG" in your gta.dat if it's not add it

and also you must know that skin selector may crash when you put more than 80 skins in it

 

if it crash in loading screen check your skin.img and make sure that all the skins are above 0kb like that

 

 

because 0kb means it's broken file so you must delete it and put it again and see if that fixed it or not

 

the game may start even if the files are broken but it well crash if you try to choose this broken skin

I haven't added any skin to the skin.img. Not even a single one. I just tried to get normal peds skin . When i press Tab + E + Q the menu appears. After that, pressing LMB(to select normal peds) makes the game crash . And how do you see those lines or whatever, in the gta.dat?

just open gta.dat with notepad and see if the line is there.

Mine crashes on the loading screen and I've tried every version I could find (new and old) and it still crashes. I also added the line "IMG CLEO\SKIN.IMG" to my gta.dat and it does not work.

Same with me, Whenever I add a custom skin, and I try to select it, the screen freezes for like 4 seconds and then crashes, Also I tried renaming my custom skins if it would work, still same problem.

Well it works for me, I can use and play with it selecting skins, I recommend that it is important to have the original sa (without mods) before testing the skin selector, so then you can confirm if the mod is bugged or not. By myself I noticed that the skin selectors v2 (and others) works, but it is NOT viable!, I think it is better to just use it for fun. I have tested many times, it works even with missions, changing clothes, hairstyles, changing stats, without problems in this cases. But anyway unfortunately, this sometimes crashes the game while selecting the skins and it will certainly crashes your game if you spawn peds (even if you have open limit adjuster installed). I tried to open the script file to try to fix it but I could NOT open it.

Ped skins sometimes doesn't work try adding skins MADE for skin selector..And check if its working.
