No sound on rifles (PS4)

In about every other mission I do, my rifles have no sound.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Try quitting the game and starting it back up

This problem has persisted since I upgraded to PS4.

It's an issue with the game that's installed on your console.

 

Your options are:
quitting the game and restarting

turning the console off and back on

hard resetting the console and trying again

reinstall the game

Yeah, I think a reinstallation is in order.

The reinstallation did not help. Please someone tell me I'm not stuck with this issue forever! Kinda ruining the whole experience now.

 

Edit: I see others are reporting the same issue on R* support. Ticket is submitted, now I can only hope for a fix.
