■ Raiel's Starter Save

Or just edit away that stat when you add pickups and stuff to the save, something I see you are considering in the modding forums. Once you go the route of modding or editing the save people don't really care how pure the save is, they just want all the goodies.

Oh come on you guys, so what he got wasted 1 time, it's no big deal, if he decides doing it at least one more time, I'm pretty sure he will fix the wasted matter, if he don't he can say to himself I did it completed a mastersave on San Andreas.

Great work it's not easy to complete the challenges in the restricted areas, and if you got wasted only once that is impressive, if not and you just saved once after getting wasted it's still a pretty amazing job

Thanks to Katie, I died once in SF.
But, thanks for the suggestions. I'll try my best to get a better Starter Save

Maybe I'm gonna try to finish the Minimum Skill Challenge first, and then to the Perfect Starter Save. It's nearly Tet Holiday in here. I'll try my best

If you can't edit your first post now you probably will be able to when the next save is ready, or eventually. I'm not actually sure on the details, but you should probably plan on using and updating this topic as needed.

Bwahhahahaha! Oh man, I'm gonna hurl. Bwahahaha! You uploaded on GTA Mods? Hehehe. Good luck getting an approval there. I've posted my texture mods for so long, it still didn't get any approval. Good Luck, you'll need it.

Lot's of people have posted their saves without cheats nor mods, so I think there will be a chance it will get an approval.

the idea of a game is to have Fun, whatever the accomplishment. The Challenge to Finish the game or parts of it should not have "Speed" as a general end all. Unless you want to challenge yourself.

Just have Fun!

Nice job. But like others have said, it's best to always have 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats.

The only Deaths you're allowed is when you obtain the AP/EC Maverick from Toreno's Last Flight. The AP Mothership from Black Project and the AP Fire Truck from End of the Line.

Furthermore, no mission failures, either, unless it's absolutely required to obtain a Special Vehicle.

I never got into this whole Starter Save stuff. I surely do what I can early on, but I don't care if I miss a few things. I mean, at the end of the day, don't we all want the WHOLE game complete? I never understood why people go out of their way to do certain things early when all it does really is just bump up your total playing time stat a lot higher than normal and when you reach 100%, everything is gonna be done, anyway, no matter what order you do things in.

Now, when it comes to a game like GTA III, I can see why it's a MUST to have a Starter Save as a lot of stuff becomes nearly impossible later on in the game when the Gangs hate Claude. As for SA, I never really bothered to do everything possible early. I just nickel and dime away at stuff while I am doing the Story. I usually do the 100 Spray Tags before the mission to obtain the AP Bravura so I can have a lot of sawn-off shotgun ammo and Hitman Level to wield two at the same time and shoot it back to a Garage. But does it have to be done before "Big Smoke?" No, it doesn't at all. I just never got into this whole Starter Save business for SA. Just seems unnecessary.

yeah, you got your point there. I just done this Starter Save for fun. 'Cause after all, the only bonuses those "stuff" give - which you can obtain/get in longer gameplay (And I just wanna be a "fast" player - y'know). Ways and means, we can do whatever we want for our game to be its best.

Nice that you kept money at $350, feels more like a starter save :)

yeah, I tried to spend all of the money I got from Gambling, doing Side missions. In order to lower it back to $350, for a fair-er game (people can get money by doing Storyline missions on themselves)

Inside Track Betting turns that 350, to 5 million quite quickly...

Some people like to see 999999999 for their money, but I never got into this whole deal about reaching the money cap, either. All you need the cash for is to buy the Safehouses around the map, and even with 5 million dollars, it's way too excessive and unneeded.

I have a few doubts:

1) Days passed in-game says only 1 (wtf!)

2) Best lap time in 8-track is 0:14! Total time 3:22 or something (again wtf)

3) Bullets fired only 2000, yet Hitman skill on all weapons.

4) Ridiculously low time played (4:14 seriously?)

I may be completely wrong, but I feel this is NOT a legit save game.

but I feel this is NOT a legit save game.

That is why you do it yourself :p

I used to like to download 100% Save Games and stuff like that, but now I just do it myself, with perfect stats, and Special Vehicle collection, etc...No need to use other people's Saves.

I was just checking out Raiel's starter save just out of curiosity. I didn't expect this to happen. All this after I saw zmoonchild's and fnxrak's saves.

Lethal Vaccine

There is good Starter Saves out there, but because of the platform I play on, I never bother searching for Saves. Why? Cuz nobody owns a backward compatible PS3 like I have and has the first editions of each GTA Game like I have. Everyone has these Platinum Editions or Greatest Hits, or Steam/Digital nonsense. I go for the physical, first edition copy of each game on PS2. They all play and save on my PS3...

So moral of the story is - Do it yourself! :p Don't rely and count on others. You can only count on yourself.
