Vertighost
Franklin has a lot of professional music gear in his house, Turntables, MPC or MPD, mixers, CD mixer equipment, Monitor Speakers etc. We never see Franklin use them, do you think he was originally meant to be in the Hip Hop scene somehow (in a small way I would think)? (I do know that his voice actor used to be in the rap game, but isn't anymore, so if they needed to record some rap I'm sure his voice actor would be able to do something, but his equipment implies DJ/production) Also about the Gold Records for OG Loc and KIll D Sac etc on his wall. In reality can people buy framed Gold records like that? I thought that would be something only the artist themselves are presented/awarded with to put on display like a trophy. Vertighost
After taking a closer look at the framed Gold records it's hard to make out but I think on the gold rectangle the first words are 'Presented to' Then artist's name underneath that. VolkXue
Almost every hood kid makes an attempt at rapping or beats at some point in their lives. But i'm willing to bet its just thrown in really. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/766072-is-franklin-a-djturntablist/#findComment-1066937557 Share on other sites
Vertighost
Anybody with a laptop can be a DJ. Yeah I agree, there's no Lappy near his turnies and sh*t, but what you said is true (*pictures Randy as Lorde on SouthPark "Yeah Yeah, feelin' good on a wednesday" ). I think it's spoken of in the GTA V Radio at some point, forget what channel, probably West Coast Classics (the laptop thing). I know it's probably nothing worthy of much analysis, but about the framed Gold Records, are these types of things available to purchase in real life? I note they say 'presented to...' (the text is kind of blurry but that's what I make out) maybe They're are stolen, which I would find awesome If Franklin stole them from the Emcee's house. If so, could we as fans buy a Rockstar Games plaque of some sort celebrating platinum sales or whatever the f*ck precious metal status they are at. Would be weird, I think. Yeah...doesn't matter who they are Loc, Cul D Sac and Killaz or something, I was just wondering is it normal for someone else to have these. Are these a framed Gold Records normal things you can buy as a fan, or are they stolen?
