OP, really good vids. I am a bit jelly.

Can you do this on a symmetrical 4WD car like the Sultan?

I'm broke on GTA Online haha, same as I said about the 9F, if I get the money, I sure will :p

Or if you meant if you can drift in a 4wd car? I don't know really, never tried it.

I meant the latter, if it were actually possible. But yeah, I'd love for you to try it in a symmetrical 4WD car like the Sultan as well.

OP get some footage with the Rapid GT. Very underrated drift car.

It's very different compared to the Schwartzer. When drifting a Schwartzer it's like you're on ice. It's slow and slidey, great for short and technical sections. With the Rapid GT you can get some serious speed.

If you don't have it yet, you need to try it out in SP! It takes some getting used to tho. Give it 15-20 minutes.

What are good drift cars? I have a futo, that thing drifts by just turning.

I would guess the comet, someone said dominator, and ruiner?

Most muscle cars do a great job at drifting. The Dominator and Ruiner were awesome when I was using them and now I have a Stallion that hangs out pretty swell as well. The Sabre is another good one.

For sports, the Futo and Sentinel are great drift cars although IMO the Sent feels a bit too sluggish at times. Massacaro and Coquette hold up pretty well as well as the Comet and Banshee but they're a bit tricky.

In all honesty the list could go on and on but it comes down to how the car feels to you.

If anyone wants to join a PS4 drift crew that is very active and hold regular meets, you can join my crew The Sideways Society. We are very dedicated to practicing drifting and can help anyone who needs it:

The thing I don't get is how you keep the the car from going into third gear. I have no problem drifting for as long as I can stay in second, but eventually I'm either going to go into third, or just run out of momentum.

Well done OP.

Maintaining steady speed is key, tapping the e-brake regularly is necessary to be able to keep chaining drifts together, shifting into third can be an advantage at times though.

The quick shift up then back down and hitting the rev limiter keeps your momentum up without gripping the road and bogging out.

I was trying to get two full (wide) circles around the Annihilator at the docks where Pegasus heli's spawn in my lowered Phoenix the other day. Got one clean one many times over but to complete the second was tough. I'll see if I can get a vid off some of my drifts together to post in here.

I'd be down for some meets too but I'll keep an eye out in here when i'm on. Don't really have any regular times that I game.

Horrible music on your videos but I really appreciate your mastery of car control. Good stuff and I know you said you don't want to kick start a drifting/powerslide debate but to me that's proper drifting you're doing.

I can do it to an extent but I normally just do figure 8's and simple stuff, think I'll try a bit more.

What makes you say that? Why is the only fitting thing EDM? That doesnt make sense. Any music could fit. its just literally every single gta v vid uses this style and its almost always terrible. No offense to you man.

What else would you suggest, then?

Great driving and videos. Makes me want to "build" a drift car.

Also, I thought the music was great, and I don't evwn listen to that kind of music, at all.

There's a lot of music out there. Hip hop is a pretty big genre for example.

Hip hop

That would be awful in this type of video...

Not to me but to me the music in the videos was awful. It's all about opinions.

Having said that, saying that all hip hop ever made would be awful in the video does sound a little narrow minded.

Then why don't you post some drift videos with hip hop in it and see how well-received your music is? Instamute for me

I think I could live with that. If you think blaring EDM is the only music that could possibly suit a drift video you need to open your ears.
