I tried out your 2 tracks today, here's my highlights.

 

 

hey syn,

 

thanks for taking the time to upload a few clips of that. i hope you enjoyed yourself on the tracks. the first one, gymkhana 7, is more of a muscle drift track (i actually havent taken a sports on it yet), trying to recreate the ken blocks gymkhana 7, but you did really nicely in your schwartzer. that turn on the LA river you highlighted with the jersey barriers and wrecked bus half is where he drifts out around that stuff but splashes the water. if you can, next time you try, push your drift out to splash the water. you were pretty close there tho!

 

some sick drifts around the wide turn other side of the floating containers. nice stuff man, keep it up! sorry i havent gotten to play in a bit, hopefully ill be in on the next spot battle or whatever.

w/e, anyone slammed and drifted the kuruma or the casco(?). i havent gotten off work yet and cant wait to go home and drift these beasts in the creator/sandbox game.

The casco is like the stinger handling and drift wise. So its good but very heavy and squirrely. The kuruma I do not have yet.

The Kuruma (armored) is a beast, no more trouble with persistent npc cars lol.

I've only bought the armored version, not planning on buying the normal one yet. So no clue since the armored one can't be slammed

i slammed the normal one last night and was pretty disappointed. it seems like it could be awesome when youre driving it, then you slam it and it hardly changes...

 

i could keep up a slower speed drift with using L2 and R1 (reverse AND ebrake) at the same time but its not the same. poop, i was really hoping for a solid drifter. oh well, ill post some more info on it later this week maybe. maybe a quick clip vid of me doing what i can with it.

 

its still a sexy car, im debating using it for a RWD off road drifter.

First video is basically just a powerslide, no momentum is kept.

 

Second one I'll give an A for effort , try slamming your cars, helps in keeping your car sideways for longer.

Does it really matter if it's a powerslide and not a drift? It'll just discourage people from posting if they're being told what they're doing doesn't count. Seems a bit of a pointless thing to complain about, let people post what they want.

.regarding line lock are you really australian? basically a line lock is a burnout where you hold you're foot on the brake.

 

but i changed it to just burnout about the time you wrote that message. and the video doesn't look like drifting it looks like a burnout.

Calm down bro, jesus. I know plenty about cars. Just cos I dont know one term that frankly sounds made up, doesnt mean I dont know about cars. All I did was ask a few questions and you have a fit. Sorry bro, I didnt realise I needed to be a mechanic to play gta. By the way, If you had any idea how to drift in this game, you would know hes not 'line locking' or burning out, hes drifting/powersliding. Not sure if you even know what a burnout is if u think what hes doing is that lol. A burnout is a stationary literal burnout of the tyres where you let the brakes go and skid off in a straight line.

 

Btw, if youre such an expert, wheres your vid which shows you drifting perfectly?

get a license and then talk about cars.
