Its just hard to believe that after 2+ years of drifting and being involved in the drifting community of this game, all of a sudden theres this guy making claims that he can mod the handling of a car and turn it into a drift machine. You must be able to see where im coming from, especially with zero evidence. Youre surprised that im skeptical when someone claims to be able to do what we've all been clamoring to do since day one with the simple flick of a switch?

 

Im not trying to be a dick here but can we see it man?

And stop being butthurt over the 'inferior' remark. Its true and you know it. As soon as you transfer to ps4, youll realise your folly.

It's not a simple flick of a switch, it takes quite a bit of learning at first.

 

And yes I could carve circles around you in a bus if I wanted, but no I won't post a video.

 

Look up "handling.rpf gta v" on google.

You can do pretty much anything to any vehicle handling wise.

The problem is the handling.rpf is now crc checked so you can no longer join friends online with a modded one.

That's when rtm tools come into play, like Mohanad's, and you can google that too.

Mohanad's tool will never really be patched because it searches for the offsets in the game. It's been working since 1.15.

 

Anyway I'm seriously off topic here sorry about that guys.

 

As for you, you can send me your psn if you want, me sending mine nah not really, not after your previous reaction.

I'm kind of skeptical also you see ;).

well if your magical, its not hard to change handling, heres a screenshot from my setup, is this proof enough?

edit- i got this off the internet because i cant get on the ps3 atm, but i use this exact tool...

I can join friends, not with a modded handling.rpf anymore but with handling mods from Mohanad's tool (which can do 90% of what a modded handling.rpf's can do) no problem.

It's not all that simple to upload videos on PS3 as I recall unless you have the whole setup, and besides you haven't posted jack in terms of videos despite painting yourself as a hardcore drifter so you're not really in a position to demand anything.

Ahhh LTS...

Heard that was a good one, however you have to pay for it so I never got around to trying it out.

I knew it was very good RPC/RTM tool but I didn't know you could mod handling too.. Good to know :)

 

Edit: most rtm/rpc tools have some sort of drift preset or speed preset as you know. But alot the time I find that it gives the cars an artificial feel... Which is why I stick to Mohanad's, it's very detailed, proper in depth handling options :)

Ahhh LTS...

Heard that was a good one, however you have to pay for it so I never got around to trying it out.

I knew it was very good RPC/RTM tool but I didn't know you could mod handling too.. Good to know :)

That might as well be voodoo magic to me as it's not something I know anything about, but looking at the options in that menu it's incredibly in depth. It looks like you can create any type of handling you want, from one extreme to the other and with all the subtle tweaks you could ever want. Cool.

Alas, it seems like that will never happen. Somehow im the bad guy for asking to see someone do something they say they can do. Bizarre forum this is. If you dont agree with everytjing everyone says and play happy families, even when people are clearly lying or just plain wrong, you are crucified.

There are quite alot of videos out there on youtube with handling mods.

 

Nobody wants to make you look silly or said you were the bad guy.

 

I can understand the doubt when you see a random guy out of nowhere making bold claims but that was not my point.

 

I came here to discuss drifting and maybe meet up with some of you on ps3.

 

I found your approach quite aggressive, ie "show us proof or gtfo", amongst other things.

 

Also claiming something is not possible when clearly you have very little knowledge on the subject can lead to an argument yes.

well you asked for proof, i just figured that you meant proof that handling mods are possible, but i cant get on the ps3 atm so i cant record a video of me drifting, and sorry for taking this topic way offtopic

Yep and there you have an example of a preset drift mod on a mod menu.

Rpc/rtm tools can do the same but like I said before, I find the preset mods artificial, a bit like as if the car is floating. Too easy to drift, not very rewarding.

once pc comes out people will start making handling strings, which is basically everything the tool i posted a pic of can do, plus someone could probably make a realistic smoke mod

I never make videos man, although I have thought of it..

Or else I would've shared one with you guys already.

And it's 4 am where I live so popping on gta just to make a video I had a hard time finding the motivation ;).

 

You'd be amazed what you can do on some vehicles.

Some really cool stuff.

And yes it's very sad you have to be jailbroken to get access to this level of modification.

 

I can just imagine some of you guys with your drifting skills the kind of stuff you could pull off...

I've got a Comet but I couldn't get anything going with it, it'd be interesting to see what it can do slammed.

I just made a couple of short vids in my slammed Comet, they are not great as I'm still learning myself but I'll happily share if someone doesn't mind telling me how to link in the vid??

What I do is edit in sharefactory, export finished vid to capture gallery, upload to YouTube then just copy and paste the link to the YouTube page in here.

 

Looking forward to seeing them mate, I might do something in SP as I don't have a suitable car online, I know this is the online part of the forum but I doubt anyone would care too much.

When I've done it I've just pasted the link in and it's brought up the thumbnail automatically, it did take several minutes for it to appear mind, I didn't think it had worked the first time but it just took its sweet time.

 

If that doesn't work there's some shenanigans you can do with putting the web page address in between brackets but I can't recall the exact details off the top of my head.

 

It's a bold move to use a Comet haha, must be one of the most difficult cars to drift slammed. I'm assuming anyway, based on the way it handles normally.

Sure buddy, I'll write that up for you after :).

 

Not sure if the settings work exactly the same way in LTS as they do on Mohanad's tool... But if you're still on ccapi 2.50 or even better if you use tmapi you can still use Mohanad's if you want. The thread is somewhere on NGU in the modding tools section, probably third or fourth page...

It didn't feel that much difference to stock, a bit better. I blew 3-4 up trying to slam it.

Thanks for your help...here's another question for ya, if I trim a few clips how do I put a few of them together? Is it hard to do?

Have you got the Sharefactory app for your ps4? Its free if you haven't and it's easy to use, just start a project then add as many of your saved clips from the capture gallery as you want then within sharefactory you can trim them, split them up, move them, all sorts.

 

Put it this way, I'd never made a video in my life before the one I posted a few pages back and to my eye the editing looks smooth even if the drifts themselves are a bit s**t.
