SouthLand
Volvo S70 2.4 Non-Turbo Manual from 1998 -180,000km - interior in very bad condition / falling apart - Suspension with more KM than what it should have. - The worse handling I have ever seen on a car. Looked like driving a huge ship on bad weather. If I took a curve at high speed, it was like if the car wanted to throw me out from the window and I had to grab my self hard lol. It had an electrical problem since my family and I bought it new. Sometimes, for no reason it jerked while shifting gears and we had to stop, turn the engine off, wait for 5 minutes and it was working fine again. The alternator of the car didn't work properly since it didn't keep the battery charged and some days my car wound't start. Oh and this is what it looked 6 months after i got it: Drunk Truck Driver
Gutslab
My first car was a Corolla I got in high school. It has about 50k miles now and we'll probably keep it until it falls apart. It's had the usual issues you might expect, like the timing belt had to be changed, a/c compressor is doing pretty poor and brakes probably need to be inspected. Zyo
Ah yes. My first car that i bought with my own money.. A 1985 Vauxhall Astra estate. That i bought in a dark car park for the princely sum of £200. What a machine. A mighty 1.3 litre engine. Came complete with a bale of hay in the back. Oh the memories. Motored that dreadful piece of crap all over the uk in the mid-90s. Good times. Never broke down. Scrapoed it about 12 months later after i sold the radio for £50. Money well spent. mr quick, Skeever, LightningLord and 1 other 4 GTA IV REAL NYC AT GTAFORUMS GTA IV REAL - V8 RUMBLE http://gtaforums.com/topic/782964-reliv-gta-iv-real-v8-rumble/?do=findComment&comment=1067267056 https://www.nationstates.net/region=gta_forums

Sweet, glad to be member here in this section. I have a picture, it's not digital I don't know where it is now, I can probably find it, it should resemble most things that I've stated about that MKII, possibly not everything, if memory serves me correct it was the only picture I ever took when I attempted to sell the Golf right after I got the sweet deal purchase, it was competition related and very complex, but I came out on top and got that car for way much less than it was worth, it was probably before any major mods done by me. Hold on or continue I'll be right back with the snapshot of that photo. This'll be fun, think I might have one of that bike too come to think of it. "iTRiP" Added those snapshots you all asked for, eh` now I miss those rides even more, oh well. Alfred Packer
My first vehicle I got when I was 18. A 1979 Nissan Fairlady 280zx, yes a real rhd. $1200 (The images are not from 2007, they are from early 2010 or 2011) But unfortunately the whole bottom end was completely rusted gone, so I had to give it back 2 weeks later because I didn't have any money to get into a project that big. The next vehicle was a 1994 Honda Civic EX coupe, unfortunately I got rid of the pics I had for it. It was white, black hood, black rims, front end was low because old car. iTRiP
Just as said in the PM, I did not know the correct wording or translation, but anyways thanks for posting that, here is the rest: Yeah your right sivispacem, but only partly because you knew how to write all those down properly, I never had to do that, thus the laughable silliness. I can clear some things up now that you pointed it out, but the rest I just did not have anymore details than this from the receipts and actually seeing the parts before they where installed: I will use some of your words to read it better. 76mm exhaust system handmade, 4-2 from the [manifold] both pipes through 76mm each strait to rear, hence the rubberizing. Right thats what you all call it, I highly doubt that it was steel, alloy nor titanium. Some dude was specialized in this and he needed a test subject. Custom Fuel Management Classified, I did not get the details, it was part of the agreement or I could not get it. Know it was some sort of computerized thing, no more info on this. it is what it was. Customized Fuel Rail & larger more Efficient Injectors, Fuel lines, Lighter Larger Fuel tank, standard 101 octane. Yes ok, the fuel pump was probably in there somewhere too, no specs listed here. It is the type of standard fuel we put in every car here, not a special mixture. Custom Gearbox: it was built tested rebuilt tested throughout the years, some more info here, it was long 1st, short 234, long fifth, there was also a clutch system classified in there somewhere. Modified starter and alternator, I do know what I'm speaking of here, the starter had failover so it where never to not start, and the remote electronics also had some play in this. The alternator, funny! the component that generates the electricity, was made this way to allow easier and faster charge for the battery, because of the pull of the sound sys, and to cover all the other electronics, there where even power outlet ports for the equipment they used when mapping and adjustments on the inside of the car. Yes your right I wrote that wrong and should have used better words describe those: Ported piston sleeves, meant to say enlarged bore, don't know the specific diameter. Ported valve sleeves, meant to say enlarged bore, flowed, don't know the specific diameter, don't have specifics about the seals, retainers, springs used, Don't know anymore details, it did limit @ 13k high revving indeed, that was the best part. I did say etc., because I did not get, nor have any more info about those finer detailed parts and how exactly it was setup, but they where altered, modded in some way. The displacement was closely from 2litre to some where near or above 3. All things stated at first match with this. The injector where around about 1000cc.each. The mapping, and what unit they used, no idea, never got the details or would not have happened in my car, that was their deal, I do know they did it without ever putting it on a dyno, I did the drive in tests every time. It made one hell of a difference, and it was adjustable on the fly. Induction: K&N Modified Air intake System. the only part bought was the actual filter everything els in that system was custom hand made. no details. It is what it was, the sound audible output was 147dB's at that time, no dyno, no known top speed nor quarter or mile times and speeds, no known power output = no leak able knowledge for opposition, this is car mod professional style, anyone knows a dyno can be hacked, even more so for a mapping suite. You have to come to some sort of understanding here these type of things aren't easily spoken of for free, this is the kind of stuff they win races and competitions with, the info is worth more than what the components are, and even I the owner was kept in the dark. Bottom line and facts: I wasn't the specialist, mechanic, programmer in any of the mod projects on this car, I simply made the liaison's and put the research ideas forth, drove & tested and owned the car and put the money for these projects on the table. I know its sounds impossible, unbelievable just like most other things I have stated but it is what it was and the proof is right here in the receipts I also have that little thing you might have forgotten regarding this car and that is that I drove it before and after each project mod, everything I did made some difference whether it be believable, differential, graphically provable when looking at the drive in test results compared to the pre project data. The injectors where probably electronically adjustable. I never said anything about the Block used, I don't have any information on that. It doesn't sound believable even to me, these specialist where and if they still do business are magicians. Regardless of what was done in the alternator project, the alternator produced more electricity at a even faster rate without hindering the engine. You can make the assumptions by known knowledge I'm simply stating the facts of the car I drove once. 13K, 100% sure it was 13K, used that in every race, and that was what nobody expected, some times I would intentionally short shift at seven, eight, nine or ten when I knew the opponent was a talker and would spill the beans after the race to his gang, club, team, project just to fool them in never really knowing the golf capabilities. Ah` this kind of talk makes me want to go drive again... The reason I gave it away and some of the reasons I was in court about this car was clear, most of these parts where stolen out of the car right under my nose when I took the car in for repairs, service or additional alterations, some of the workshops could not figure how the other workshops work was done, and this caused more harm than good, they even test drove without permission and without 100% triple checking their labour beforehand. sivispacem
And my response- Thousand cc injectors on a naturally aspirated engine is ridiculous. That's big power turbo injector sizes. Stoichiometric efficiency for an N/A high revving 4-cylinder would dictate injector sizes round about 350cc maximum. Even more ridiculous is the notion that you could overbore a 1.8 KR type block to 3L. The maximum you can typically reach through both boring and stroking is 2.1-2.2L before the cylinder walls become so thin that they run the risk of warping. In fact, I think I'm right in saying that the required bore to make a KR engine 3L would be wider than the actual block. You'd need a bore north of 110mm, and there simply isn't enough space between the pistons to accommodate that. I'm not even entirely convinced you could get a 3L four to rev to 13k RPM given that the bore and stroke would be so large that the rotating mass, regardless of materials, wouldn't permit it. And 13k on hydraulic lifters is still laughable. You can't really modify an alternator to produce more power. You could replace it with a higher output one or overdrive it using a smaller pulley but neither of those is really modifying it. Remember, one of the provisions for your return was that you cut out the bullsh*t artistry. Some context. That's a Synergy V8. It's basically a custom flat-plane 2.4L engine made pretty much exclusively from lightweight aluminium alloys and titanium. It has solid lifters, individual throttle bodies and a whole swathe of other features. It's basically an endurance racing engine modified to be road usable. It also costs something like $40k. That makes about 380bhp at 10,500rpm. It's limiter is at 11,500. And you're saying that your mythical VW 4-pot can out-rev that by 20%? mr quick and *MURDOC* 2 AMD Ryzen 5900X (4.65GHz All-Core PBO2) | Gigabye X570S Pro | 32GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 EK-Quantum Reflection D5 | XSPC D5 PWM | TechN/Heatkiller Blocks | HardwareLabs GTS & GTX 360 Radiators Corsair AX750 | Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL | EVGA GeForce RTX2080 XC @2055MHz | Sabrant Rocket Plus 1TB Sabrant Rocket 2TB | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB | 2x ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Q Acoustics 2010i | Sabaj A4
