The Stratum isn't about overall performance, but the fact that it's the only wagon (so you get your hip points), it's the only AWD, and it's anonymous enough that some guys see cult Asian wondercar (Skyline), some people see anonymous family truckster (Honda Accord), and some people see it as a European fancylad wagon (Audi).

 

The Primo, Washington, and Stainer are literally anonymous turds. No one outside of people who pretend their police (or the new breed of Internet car fan) who think they can pretend to have a Crown Vic PI. The f*cking Washington is a Lincoln town car, a car so f*cking uncool in the actual universe that most people who own them die of old age before the car wears out.

 

The only goddamend reason anyone cares about them is a sh*tty cadre of Interweb fanboyism has sprung up by the people who bafflingly idolize a 40 year old car design with no practicality left other than idiots on the Internet pat each other on the back.

 

IF you guys want to stroke each others' vpeens about the handsome and powerful "panther cars," then by all means do so but don't kid anyone that these turds represent the best of goddamned anything in this game except sheer anonymity.

 

As I said earlier, the Shafter, Warrener, and Tailgater all mix interesting visual customizations with acceptable performance. The Stratum throws visuals out the window but at least gives you a quality base from which to smell your own flatulence as well as it's own mix of useful traits.

 

You guys are literally going to turn this into a battle to see who can pick the lamest car to establish ecred.

mate I like the schafter and tailgater too but can't you just accept people like a lot of different things for very different reasons?

 

The stratum actually is superbly balanced and drives very well...I have a washington as well and it also drives well and is tough in collisions...the washington is faster than the warrener btw and so is the primo in the sedans class (I have a warrener and love it...I also have a stratum, schafter and washington and love them all)

 

I used to have a tailgater way back when you couldn't buy it but was pissed off how hard i had had to spend to get it to spawn and then they made it available for purchase.

 

tbh all you guys (looking at you jimrod) need to just accept you can't second guess peoples reasons for liking something and just play the game..

 

I like every vehicle left except the fugitive although i can hardly say that i hate it...

When you really comapare the Stratum to a R32, the Stratum looks way off from one in terms of size.

I like a lot of cars in this class - the Stratum's my favourite but only because it's as close to my real car as I can get in-game.
