Primo I don't know, but Stanier's the closest thing we have to an iconic cop car. Plus, it's actually good and not just for looks. Not hipstery to use it, it's that since we aren't getting cop cars... You know.

Man, I dunno. I love my cop car though. Lacks a siren, but whatever. Close enough.

The Warrener bores me to tears, but offers a great mix of visual changes, a niche in performance, and is at least an interesting Japanese-modeled car.

 

The Stratum is agile, goes anywhere, and has a good mix of durability and power for missions and also a unique race point.

 

The Schafter is, arguably, the best performer.

 

The leading cars at this point are basically garbage.

Well, I can't say I've used all of the remaining cars extensively, but I know for a fact the Primo, Washington and Stanier perform easily as well as the Stratum does.

 

I think it's just a matter of taste at this point.

Good timezone everyone! I didn't mention it yesterday as I completely forgot when I got home, but the Emperor has been eliminated and taken the first spot on the top 10 Sedans. Now we are slowly getting to the real cars, with the end possibly coming soon. In first place on 29 points is this Stanier, there is no longer a three way tie to get in to first place!

Also @jimrod, a sedan, known as a Saloon car over here in Britain, entails all of the cars in the list. Matter of fact, the Schafter's and tailgater's real counterparts are actually known to be the most popular and best saloon cars around. The likes of the stanier and primo are classic sedan cars but if you had the choice would you seriously choose those instead of the Schafter for example.

 

 

 

The Washington is fine, along with all the "proper" sedans like the Stanier, Primo, Stratum (ok "Station Wagon") and Fugitive, though that's borderline Muscle like the Buffalo...

 

The Intruder, Tailgater and Schafter are the abominations. Wannabe sports cars without the performance, if you want a sports car there are plenty of good options, if you want a fast 4 door there's the Exemplar. The Eurostyle, winged and arched boxes are merely sheep in wolves clothing.

 

That's a cute opinion. I love my Intruder, Tailgater, Schafter, and Stratum. The rest of your "proper" sedans are for chowderheads imo. And the Exemplar is absolutely hideous. I wouldn't own one even if it had the speed of a Zentorno and was available for free, fully tuned. I don't know, it just looks so exaggerated and phony.

 

 

 

@blizzard5 - I do know that, I'm English but was talking "American" for the benefit of the majority and the fact it's the "Sedan" class rather than saloon.

 

@both - while in real life I agree, the Mercedes, Audi and BMW saloons are great cars, they are so because they're a good mix of quality, practicality and performance, hell I drive a SEAT Exeo 170 diesel "Station Wagon" for those reasons! (it's an Audi A4 B7 in all but name and minor styling tweaks to the front and back) -

 

 

But in this game I feel Sedans should be those average anonymous box cars, the sort you spend most of your time swerving to avoid, the undercover cop car type thing. Practicality isn't an issue, economy isn't an issue, quality isn't an issue so there's no good reason not to buy a sports car or super for performance in-game, a muscle car for the sound, something more hipster for individuality and style. The "Performance Sedan" just seems a bit pointless to me and the slammed and spoilered look is just tacky to me, like in real life - doesn't add performance just weight, harshens-up the ride and cheapens the car so it's never appealed to me. That's all.
