Can T blow himself up

Recommended Posts

I think the whole thing about meeting a character randomly is impossible, basically you have to make sure they are in each others vicinity for that to happen.

I agree. In fact, a lot of times, when I try to make the characters interact, the first character will de-spawn. I recall making Franklin and Trevor interact before they meet in the story. I got Trevor close to Franklin's house, and didn't see Franklin. I knew he couldn't have gone far, so I switched back to Franklin, and he appeared out of thin air just a few feet away from Trevor.

This happened on several occasions. So I've concluded when you're playing as one main pritagonist, the others do not exist, unless you get them very close to each other.

I know for a fact that aint true. I once ran into Trevor in Sandy Shores with Michael completely unexpected. Trevor was in the parking lot of a building by the Alamo Sea. I will say it's extremely rare but it's possible. I've encountered Franklin once as well. If I had to guess, I'd say you'd need to hang out at areas where the characters appear during "switch scenes". Of course, you can always manually set it up so they meet.

I do agree....but it seems that vicinity is quite large...I once caught up with Michael (as Franklin) on a highway and it was quite a distance between them. However I knew Michael was on the highway cause thats where I left him.

If Rockstars claim that people, especially protagonists, live their own lives...it should be possible to stay in front of Trevors trailer as Franklin and wait for Trevor to show up, however that would never happen, the player has to purposely put the protagonist together for them to meet.

Are you sure you didnt play as Trevor just before you took Michael to Sandy Shores?

I'm sure. I was in the middle of the Epsilon mission that requires Michael to wear the robes for 10 consecutive days so I hadn't switched in a while.

About the whole "the other characters don't exist while you play as one protagonist". I think an encounter would be more likely to happen if you spawn all three protagonists by switching to each one. I haven't played the game yet so I'll have to do some tests in March.

I think that only the character you're playing as is spawned right when you start the game.
