A word of caution

I was part of a crew up until a few days ago, when the crew leader told me I was kicked out of the crew for not being a good fit. I thought they were my friends, but they just cast me aside like a worn out garment. People you think are your friends are just people you play with who will keep you around only as long as they find you useful. I think the crew leader kicked me because I smacked him in pretty much every GTA activity except parachuting. I worked on my parachuting and managed to beat him twice in a row and he was very angry. I think that is the real reason he kicked me. Anyway now I am deeply sad and hurt at not having any friends to play with anymore. I don't know how I can really pick up the pieces and move on. They said the reason they kicked me is because I nagged them to play deathmatches too much. Well I was working on my weapon tints and I managed to earn them all. I don't see a legit excuse to kick someone. They could have just told me not to invite them so much. Even if they got invited all they had to do was ignore or decline the invite. It's not like I made them do anything. So yea I think it was just an excuse they found convenient for getting rid of me. There are no friends on GTA online. Everybody is waiting to stab you in the back. You have to be your own person. Kindness will be interpreted as a sign of weakness. Well, I'll be taking a break from this game for awhile, maybe pop back on later to check out the heists.
