Calling Merryweather in a Merryweather Mission

Just a random thought that came to my mind. What would happen if I was playing a mission where Merryweather is the enemy and I called then up for a backup helicopter?

 

To me, it would kinda be like deploying troops to kill people on their own team. Is calling them even possible?

If there was a merryweather mission I am sure calling them would be disabled just like calling lester is disabled while in a lester mission. There are some missions with them in it I believe(dry docking?). You can always try and find out.

I had the same thought when I was far away from some objective on a roof where we had to steal helicopters and I was able to call Merryweather for a helicopter no problem. I didn't know how to take it from him and he just flew off and I had to call Pegasus anyway, but it worked.

As for Mendoza, I hear Mendoza gets hit when playing Hard Labor which is a Gerald Mission.

i used to use helicopter backup when i would play "titan of a job" when i was a noob.

I've always thought it was retarded that players can call Merryweather for support while also attacking them.

 

It should be disabled or R* needs to create another paramilitary organization as a rival to Merryweather.

Additionally, merryweather folks are essentially mercenaries, so yeah, they'll kill anyone for the money.
