What rumors about GTA VI surfacing? I only saw two forum threads that showed links to a two year old article. GTA VI is more than likely in the planning stages but I don't expect it for another 4-7 years. So no sh*t we would get the SP DLC.

F gta 6, dont want another gta for 5-7 years now, for now it should be New IPS, sequels and keep extensively updating the world of gta 5! looking forward to story dlc more than heists, im level 203 online and have milked the sh*t out of online lol gone back to the story.

Totallycasual

I've said this before but i'll say it again.

I would love for GTA to take a page out of WoW's book and look to add to the existing world rather than an entirely new game, in my mind i would love for GTA VI to simply be another island that we can fly to via the airport. Imagine being able to fly from Los Santos to Liberty City and start an entirely new story. Not to mention GTAO would do very well with such a world.

We got tLaD and tBoGT with IV, so I would definitely take the DLC over VI. R* is the best with DLC, and I'm glad they're taking a long time, because it will probably be as good as all three(EFLC & Undead Nightmare) of my favorite story DLC's.

I hope to see a new RDR, Bully, Manhunt, Max Payne, and/or new IP before the next GTA.

Probably passed the planning stages. Even Lazlow mentioned how they already started with VI back in 2013, right before GTA V released.

He was on Opie and Anthony, along with Chris Jericho. Lazlow was talking about how long it took to develop GTA V, and then Jericho asked...

Jericho - I would assume that their probably already working on VI?

Lazlow - Well, the thing about video game development is, if you want to have a game come out 5 years from now, you need to be working on it now.

With R* no one knows what their future plans are. They've been pretty inconsistent and long with releasing anything new. GTA V came out September, 2013. Between then and now, all they released was silly materialistic content (cars,Clothes, etc.) for GTA V and Online, and a next gen version of GTA V for PS4/Xbone. Heists, which R* has delayed several times should be coming out this spring along with the PC version of GTA V. This is all we know about what R* is going to eventually release. We dont know when the next new game from R* is coming too, which they are due for this year, or any DLC at all.

The only thing I can really accept at this point without feeling cheated is if they added another island.

Of coruse I'll still buy it either way, but if they added LV, or SF there wouldn't be any hesitation

Ridiculous topic but I'd choose VI. I'd much rather have an entirely new game in every aspect instead of some new missions and a few vehicles. A new game would mean months and months of exploring, all kinds of new vehicles, weapons, animations, dialogue, characters, new wanted system, not to mention things we can't even imagine yet.

V's a great game and I still play it all the time, but it's been out for a while and I know it will eventually fade. DLC's usually don't really extend the life of a game by much, especially in SP. A couple months would be a stretch. The reason GTA has such a long life is because of free roam, and DLC's rarely have anything to improve free roam.

With that being said, I don't have the new gen, so VI would be useless to me.

I think the flight school things were made for multiplayer because you can't do things like formation flying in SP. A "we've changed the flight school DLC we talked about to MP instead of SP" would've been nice. It could be possible the assassination missions were intended to be a smaller DLC, but were changed so they can be in a bigger DLC with other stuff too, maybe some extra flight school things as well.

Or they've been abandoned and will never be talked about again. I hope not.

We need something to fullfill our free time untill VI will come out, so i hope for a decent SP V DLC with more emphasis on crime activities.

Of course i`d rather have a brand new GTA title right away but that`s not possible.

But there`s one thing i`m looking forward more than DLC and VI combined- new RDR.

Anyway, the CG V hype has already completelly gone in my case, the game gets more boring everyday so we desperatelly need new SP DLC which will (hopefully) fix some issues with original. I expect more crime side missions and fixed frame rate troubles. I could do with the lack of AA but i can`t stand those annoying frame rate drops across LS.

It`s totally ruining my experience with already mediocre GTA game..
