Glitched/modded cash has not crazily been distributed to 90% of the GTAO population like it used to be a year ago. There are still lots of players with glitched/modded money but it's a very small amount compared to the billionaire days. It was so out of hand that they had to wipe accounts. As of right now there has been glitches and still ways for modders to hack money but it's not even close to what it was like a year ago. It's very very likely this maintenance is just going to patch the current glitches and prepare for the heists update. There's absolutey no reason for rockstar to wipe and for you to be worried about money being wiped.

 

EDIT: Remember the hooker glitch back in July? It was very easily to make millions in minutes. There is not one single glitch right now that gives you millions within a few minutes. That glitch was pretty out of hand and did rockstar wipe money? Nope.

Back in the day, we had this thing called a game genie that allowed us nerds to pretty much have our way with any game. The problem was that it made the games boring, and that's not why you play a game.

 

so yeah, I run into idiot glitchers and hackers in gta-online every now and then, but I have the luxury of knowing that they have glitched or hacked their way past all of the fun of playing the game as it was intended. They might have all of the things I would like to have, but at the end of the day, the console gets turned off and there isn't a garage filled with chrome adders that they can use.

 

Just a door leading to the first floor of mom's house, and another year wiped off the face of their lives because they decided that it was better to cheat at a stupid video game, rather than spend that time making real money in the real world, and treat video games as a brief few hours of escapism.

Lol I'm not afraid of a money wipe at all. I gave myself 500 levels and 100 million dollars, and even had my account looked at by R* because of a support issue and still sitting on my levels and cash.

I've made quite a bit of dosh using the sad trombone glitch and I actually stopped doing it the other day because I have everything I need now.

 

So I've got 19 mil in the bank, 17 mil of that being glitched money, now they can patch whatever they want but if they take this money off me then I'll be gutted lol, I think I'll stop playing online

Their mistake is to show up in forums (with their SC or PSN/Gamertag ID exposed), asking what they gonna do with the glitched money or do glitch in public free mode. They should've known there are Rockstar lurkers, Rockstar patriots and the jellies who will report them.
