^ It's server maintenance, it has zero to do with the content of your console.

 

Like I said. We're not receiving anything once the maintenance ends. We received content but we can't access it as it's completely hidden. It will be unlocked on release day. That's usually how it is next to the official update file. Some things are added prior before release for testing purposes.

It's probably for the horrible disconnect issues we've had lately. Though some content might be added ahead of an update/hists, too.

Most likely they are already working on PC version Social Club. Implementing a few things. So when PC release drops they can drop hists at the same time.

R* have said Heists are coming with the PC Version. This also means Heists need to be completed (a guesstimate admittedly) no later than 3rd March to ensure any Final Testing/Bug Fixing can occur before the PC Version goes "Gold" and is manufactured & distributed.

 

If R* have not released Heists in the "weeks before" the PC Release, why would this motivate anyone yet undecided on purchasing the PC Version to do so if R* can not deliver on their word for the 3rd time (Spring and first Update for Consoles for Heists)?...If anything it seems like exactly the opposite way to "encourage" PC sales.

 

Edit: R* have said Heists are coming with the PC Version - To Clarify: As in the DLC will be included with the Discs in the same way GTA V for PS4/Xbone had the DLC's to date. This is completing different to claiming it will be the next Update as R* did with PS4/Xbone.

I had an interesting dream, and it was about GTA V. it was a good story line idea, I need to write it down. might make good fan fic material.

 

But mainly I was just irked because I haven't played GTAV or GTAO in weeks, and all of a sudden I'm woken out of a dead sleep by a dream about GTAV and a story.

 

And like most dreams it's fading and I'm trying to hang onto the details.

 

It has something to do with an attack on Los Santos and the boys(Michael, Franklin and Trevor) being implicated and having to work with Davey to clear their names and find the real culprit.

Support cant say: 'Hey guys yes an update is coming, brace yourselfs!', because they are a company with stock options. They always say an update isnt coming stay tuned to the newswire. We have seen in the past that newswire-crew and support aren't what you would call on the same page when it comes about updates.

 

So who knows. Maybe the unpinned hot topic is indeed a sign.

I've been playing solo the entire time, still logged in now. I've personally never seen the game run this beautifully. Solid 30fps even 1st person the car downtown.

 

NPC cars drive straight, cops aren't so annoying we should have every second day without rockstars sh*ty servers.

What have your YouTube buddies got to do with this?. I read rockstar support everyday. Those guys are not much more than a typical outsourced company support setup in Bombay India. In fact I'd not be not surprised if that's the case with rockstar support too. They definitely know very little about the game.

Maybe it is, hell I'd love it, even if it's likely to be something small, hell at this point I'd be happy with bug fixes (which maintenance entails usually but a conventional patch as well would be welcomed) just to stabilize it, main reason I've been playing other games lately is because of how horrible it was getting, and not being able to join friends sucks half the reason of playing the game up right there lol.

 

Who knows it could indeed be a sign like you said, I'm just not gonna hold my breath, I guess we'll just have too, as Rockstar says, stay tuned lol.
