I'm wondering (it's my best guess atm) if the maintenance period was them switching a bunch of server capacity from LG to NG, seeing how anecdotally one seems to have improved at the expense of the other.

Only thing I noticed changed/improved is that you now get put in sessions with friends. That hasn't worked on ps4 ever. Now its how the ps3 did it.

They did but I got back only by restarting my PS4 and Game. But they did not take out the Sad Horn glitch.

Just started getting "Files..." also. Annoyingly I managed to play after the Maintenance ended last night!

 

Given my Internet was playing up also, my Console (PS4) has been restarted 3 x and my Router 2 x in the last 30 mins so clearly this issue is on R*s end.

Looks like this problem is pretty exclusive to PS4, everything is working fine on the Xbone(that's to say that I'm still getting the regular unknown errors kicking me every half hour.)

Checkmate on it being an Issue with R* and not out our end.

 

Just dusted off my PS3 copy of GTA V, Start Online and "Files can not be Downloaded..." exactly the same as PS4. Would like to see them explain to me how both my PS3/PS4 copies are having the same Issue at the same time straight after their maintenance period

PS4 when I try to go from SP to MP it tells me to check rockstargames.com for info about outages and maintenance.
