We know that there is a never-ending community wish list for new content to be added to Grand Theft Auto Online. Not only do we truly appreciate that, as we’ve always said that the evolving world of GTA Online is as much yours (the players and residents of Los Santos and Blaine County) as it is ours – but we also need it and rely on it. Please keep your most wanted new features, updates, changes and tweaks coming via email to our official inbox at [email protected]; we are constantly checking this feedback for ways that we can improve the game. To date, your feedback sent there has been invaluable in helping shape the game to what it is so far, and we look forward to the collaboration continuing strong in 2015 and beyond.

P2P server aka network limitations. They might appear on pc due to the server being dedicated but it's never coming to consoles.

You expect them to respond to every single wishlist they receive??

Wastelander (Suzuki)

Based off something read a while back Rockstar severs are running at 256/64 DSL, My internet is faster then that, 256/64 DSL is fine if it was 2008, that being said if the severs were running at 512/128 DSL things would be better and more content (i.e animals) could be added to online. Basically there running internet/sever speeds that is, well the speed of high-speed dail-up (yes that is a thing).

Maybe they had concerns about this type of player :blink:

I just know I'd get distracted I'd see a deer and I'd chase it and stab it.

I hope you can beat animals to death in V.

Cheers.

Then why would they be in SP?

Quoted because this is the right answer and the only answer that makes sense. Kind of tired of this question coming up again and again, to be honest. What it comes down to is that a lot of information has to be communicated to and from your console - mostly the position and physical condition of players, cars, NPCs, and dynamic objects in the environment. All of that hogs bandwidth. Add in animals and it becomes too much, unless you eliminate some of what we've already got.

In other words, the reason there are no animals is the exact same reason that there is less traffic and fewer NPCs on the streets. It's just too taxing on people with less-than-stellar internet and it would cause lag.

PETA has nothing to do with it. "Console limitations" has nothing to do with it. Red Dead is a bad point of comparison because there's far less going on in that game.

And for what it's worth, I really like the next gen version and it was well worth the money to me. I use first person always on foot, sometimes in cars; I love the improved graphics; and I love the 30 player (well, usually low 20s) lobbies. All of that is more meaningful to me than animals.
