the fact the train goes past at exactly 19:17 is a bit odd but it could jus be a co-incidence. thats even if co-incidences actually exist in the first place.

 

anyway i found a youtube comment on another video where the guy swore blind he knew how to get the jetpack an apparently was told the process how when he called rockstar support about something else an jus randomly asked the guy if the jetpack existed in game an how to get it. the support guy told him the method etc. he was told hes a troll i dunno how many times by other youtubers but still he insisted it worked an his general reply was jus f*cking go an try it then an why would i make up something like this etc etc.

 

ive not seen any mention of this kinda method before an it is kinda precise an needs a specific playthrough to some extent. anyway these instructions did not come from me so dont give me sh*t about it if it doesnt work. im in the process of completing my game to 100% an collecting all spaceship parts an il create a separate save to try out this guys method. its not exactly long or hard or anything. the hardest part is collecting all the spaceship parts as far as im aware.

 

 

but anyway il copy an paste his method/idea that he swore blind actually worked. but nobody took him seriously an actually tried it although im sure there were one or 2 comments of people saying it did work but cant remember now. i jus know his method intrigued me an more how he defended his idea an stance on the issue was wot made me think it could be worth a try at least an its not exactly hard for someone with a 100% save who has a save jus before the final mission that could try it.

 

 

anyway this is wot i copied from his youtube comment. pretty much the whole comment. like i said i would have tried it already if i was at the right point in the game but im not even 25% done with the spaceship parts yet so itl be a while before i can actually test this guys theory/method out.

"f*ck, people in the comments are really stupid. There is in fact a jetpack in the game. You've just chosen to take directions from some piss poor troll video. Here is what you REALLY have to do. The following is an 8 step instruction guide that was given to me and my friends by Rockstar via Twitter back in January when we asked about a jetpack. (press read more):

 

1. Complete the story 100%, but keep Michael alive. Make sure Trevor dies in story mode.

 

2. Use the character selection to pick Michael and drive over to the satellite dishes (with the space docker car) and blow all the horns at

pm for about 1 minute. Make sure the car is aimed directly at one of the dishes that are pointing (almost completely upwards.)

 

3. Once you've done that, drive over to the alien camp and wait there.

 

4. At around

pm you will see a flash in the skybox, and quick beam of light that comes in the form of a flash and then a faint yellow light is seen resting on top of the highest bump of terrain at the alien camp (this signals where the jetpack is.) Lights have always been included in the GTA series to indicate where certain items are.

 

5. Walk over to this bump and pick up the jetpack at exactly

am (which is midnight.) If you walk over to the sight at

am the light and the jetpack will despawn. You must walk over and pick it up at EXACTLY midnight.

 

6. It is an alien jetpack. The reason for this is because its an easter egg that makes a reference to a classic sci-fi open world game series called ''Destroy all humans.'' The same jetpack you get is the same jetpack that was used by the alien protagonist in ''Destroy all humans.''

 

7. It is classed as an aircraft in terms of the game's programming so it can be saved at your hanger. Or you could save it in your spawn system (that you activate via your character's mobile phone.)

 

8. The jetpack can only be found this way in single player mode during free roam. Not online.

 

I've already done all of this and guess what? It ain't that f*cking difficult. I've got the jetpack and it adds a new dimension to flight in the game. Finding or discovering mystery easter eggs like this in a game just requires you to explore, wait, or experiment. Or you could simply just contact the people that brought you the game (which is exactly what me and my friends did.) It is an open world game after all. It seems like all the dumbasses here don't know how to roam properly, or ask for help from the makers of the game. Pay no attention to this JIMBOTHY uploader."

an thats jus it tho. no? theres no reasoning behind why you would do any of those steps. if you were going to make up something like this youd think youd wanna make it believable so people actually do go an try it an probably include some things that relate to all the clues an mystery surrounding it. this method is just random. but so random it makes me wonder if its worth a go. certainly its so damn random that nobody int their right mind would be able to figure this out on their own an would actually be a good reason why the jetpack has still not been found.

 

the only thing that method has is the spaceship parts/docker an the alien camp an satellite dishes. nothing else is mentioned but then i dont see why anything else like the ufo sightings etc would be tied in to getting the jetpack specifically.

Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon was one of the worst broken, unfinished games I've ever played...Mention Destroy All Humans, and all I think about is how bad that game was.

apparently not although i suppose its not always possible for everyone to record video on last gen. although pics are possible but then its easy to jus say a picture is faked so even if he had uploaded pics of some sort people would still call him out an say hes a troll an they are fake. but that the only thing that had me thinking it wasnt real. if its true an you wanted to prove it then you would jus go to your hanger take a couple pics on your phone or camera or even the snapmatic in game cam of the jetpack equipped an being used an upload them in a link to your comments. not very hard to do but apparently for him it was.

 

if you wanted you could probably track down the original poster an comments along with his replies to his theory. the comments were put in a video by jimbothy about how to get the jetpack in gta5. il have a lil look now an see if i can find it an post a link. still tho if you have a game thats 100% complete an at the right point in the game it should not take long or be that hard to test this theory out, should it? probably quicker than pondering over wether he's a troll or not.

I watched a vid a while back someguy collecting the jetpack at iaa building after a 24 hour in game shootout with cops at the prison, he showed the jetpack being picked up it was a spinning pick up and the black caption box in corner even said press right to pick up jp. He even had footage of him flying it but I think it was skyfall cheat and some clever video editing. Lot of hoaxers about, a genuine videoo would generate millions of views so imo if someone found it there wowould quickly be a lot of people copycatting method to jump on the youtube cashwagon.

 

on topic though there is a video apparently showing time standing still after a guy completed game using only autosaves check out the last few pages of mystery topic for link or more info
