Game Data question

So Rockstar has been saying all the time to delete game data for GTAV if we face any problems,and since I am not a smart man at all,I'd like to ask what that means for my character.

There are two files for Game Data,GTAV with the newest 1.20 patch and the installation file,I presume I have to delete the 1.20 file but does that mean I will have to redownload all the patches again and possibly for example lose my Gusenberg because it was limited time only?

Easy,what happens when I delete the Game Data for GTAV?

Your character will be fine since he/she is tied to the cloud servers and not your console's game data, it is safe to reinstall patches.

 

And yes you'll have to redownload them all which will be done as soon as you boot up the game, takes about 20 minutes or so
