There's a random event in the cave where there's a letter scrap and ufo part, you just shoot some guys on boats, then you can take the plane. It unlocks on the elitas website after that. After finishing Nervous Ron, the dodo will spawn in a cove on the east coast, near Senora Way and the wind farm. It's a random event, haven't done it yet but you will have to kill some enemies protecting it and then fly away with the seaplane, as much as I know. Carlito beat me to it. Aidan D Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 I know why this happens and I've seen it happen. Whenever boats/seaplanes spawn, they always spawn from beneath the water and pop/float up to the surface. They float up VERY fast because boats aren't supposed to be underwater in GTA. When the sea plane floats up it's not very stable because it only has 2 pontoons keeping it steady. It pops out of the water with so much force that it ends up flipping about 90 degrees in the air and then another 90 as it's submerged sideways in the water. If you take a Mallard and fly just close enough to see it spawn, you'll notice that it happens about 15% of time it appears. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DaRkL3AD3R Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 Yes I have serious issues with this dodo spawn spot. Sometimes the thing is straight up submerged at the bottom of the lake.
