There's never any dupe where someone can do it for you. You always dupe someone else's car for yourself, just the way it works since it's your garage it's going in.

I tried it and I just can't do it. maybe im messing up on the r2 part because the map isn't flashing

Was that hummer running?. Anyway you did it wrong. What's happens the other 10%. We all have days where we don't get it 90% of them time.

OK guys I've finally realised why and how this glitch works. Which makes it much easier.

 

I guess the guys hitting this often like me have realised by now the minimap flickers are the ping for you to be put into the garage. It sends like two to get you into the garage. However when the car is burning its like I can't let you in. But your pushing on the throttle going, let me in and its like come in... No don't you are in a dead car! No duping allowed!. Anyway I noticed on the very very good strong cars for whatever reason they give two sets of flickers then a pause and a final one flick. Those are the cars you have a very high percentage of working. Still you can do it with any car if you think about it.

 

The reason we can teleport in in another car is because we are getting out of the burning car during the garage requesting you in, this interupts the requests and if you got it right you will have one request pending and it'll flick you in the garage once you are out of the burning car, hopefully in the car you want.

 

As I said some cars have this natural delay in that last flicker but other cars you need to spam triangle to get out with a flicker to spare to you can use that one to teleport into the garage. So it depends on the car but so long as you understand that you are using r2 to generate requests into the garage and you are then pausing them like on a register stack or printing job until you get in the other car.. Well if you understand that you will be OK and you'll get it done eventually no matter the car.

I am pressing r2 only once when getting in the car and stop as soon as it starts flicker. Then try to get the hell out of there and teleport. Works fine... Sometimes lol. Definitely different for every car. Suv work best for me now, especially the canis

Yeah what your personal preference is to induce the flicker doesn't matter at all. It's the getting out before the last flicker that matters. Thats all.

 

It seems to me every car works but the technique is different for everyone. I was having great success with the pheonix originally because I was sitting in the car until the second batch of flickers ended and its one of the cars which throws a third solo flick after a short pause which let's you get out. But I've duped from some cars getting out mid flashing before the door is even shut. I've done rolling starts etc. It all works so long as you have a map flicker left once you are in the car you want to dupe.

I didn't bother to post it cause it's not a reliable glitch most people wont bother to do it since it's difficult to get it to work its posted on the first page and several other pages on this thread as well as videos everyone should know about it by now

Ok, well its reliable in that if you want a car and can spend 20 minutes you'll get the car. Might only take one minute .

 

I'd be duping cars left right and centre with it, if I didn't already have everything I wanted. But because it was a challenge I wanted to give it some test runs. Of course you have to sell the successful dupes so I made profit without even trying, mostly I've been getting unsellable cars from missions.

That's great I have done it myself a couple of times and got it to work and given cars to friends but you know how it is when people can get it to work they give up on it and say it's patched better for us rockstar won't patch it
