[PS4] Vehicle Requests/Duping

Here are the news and the exact timings to reproduce:

 

- You need a garage

- You need some lag. Either do it in public or just start a 4k video on your phone on YT - that way worked for me

- Grab 1 NPC car (2 is not necessary like I postet on 7s) and drive to the garage with the interaction menu open

- The NPC car engine should run! If it is not, get out, shoot in the air and while holding r2 press triangle to get in and out. Engine is still running. That way the car dies much later when on fire and you don't have to take specific cars. ANY storeable car works.

- Close interaction menu

- Shoot the hood until it is on fire

- Press triangle and TAP R2 a fraction of a second BEFORE the character sits down

- The map should blink hysterically. Press Triangle to get out and immediately teleport in your vehicle.

If you teleport in your garage without car -> glitch works! Just need more lag

If you get kicked out of car -> glitch works! You were just a bit too late with teleporting -> need more lag

Will add you later, but can not help with consistency. Still struggling but will do another session in the evening. Got some confirms via PM on se7en and on reddit that it works a lot better with the updated instructions.

 

Did 3 in a row, then 1 or 2 pause, one again, another pause, one again. Thats why I did the update. But afterwards I failed for an hour and then I played Heist with skar, lorenzo and deadx

Ive found a way to make the glitching last permanently which makes the teleport 100%. Only difficulty is the setup but ill perfect it tomorrow. I have some ideas. Once i have hellboy his dukes ill post it here.

For the money there is a new one. This happens when R tries to patch something..

they broke the storage thing and did a dupe glitch instead

Nothing new as far as I am aware. At least I don't know what to do with the glitch when we get it working reliably.

I can hit the glitch good enough now. Just been getting mission cars to check for worn paint. I'd like to get the worn red heist Regina if anyone can host it.

 

For now I'm just doing two flickers on a pv then the full glitch on a street car. Works every so often.

Yes it works, butcher has been working on it for a couple weeks. I got it at least 10 times last night. It works good just not every time but you can certainly use it for car trading no problem.

I think I need to do a break with this glitch. Worked bad, then refined timings and worked quite good, and yesterday worked nothing Never got early enough out of the car and only teleport to garage 2 out of 50 times. Not one single dupe, grrrr. Back to the start.

This is the kind of glitch where you can't give up or let it get to you. I just get some music going on Spotify and keep loading in the cars till I hit it again. I'm going to sell most my duped cars and load up good burning cars tonight lol.

Assuming the teleport being disabled on ps4 from the bike rack is triggered by selecting the bike rack (and I'd say it is) then this should also work on ps4. You can see what's going on in the video but I'll ask my wife who speaks Spanish to listen if there's anything I'm missing tomorrow.

I'd just like a Dubsta2, you don't need to dupe it as supposedly you can find it in Burton LSC parking lot by driving past in your own Gold/Chrome Dubsta 2 from the hours of 0800-1700hrs.

Not after last update you can't, at least according to several people. And the gold one hasn't spawned for some time anyway.

I managed to fill a garage last night full of Panto's but can't get the glitch to repeat itself when I want it to.

I did the burning car glitch SKARFACE posted above and duped one Panto. I then put the original back in the garage with the dupe, walked outside and stole a street car to complete the mission with. After completing it I went to free roam, then story, then started a friends only session.

Once in a friends only session I took the copy I just made to store in another garage that was full at the time.

When I went to pull in I got this garage is full a vehicle must be moved to storage pop up. Clicked X for yes then once inside when I selected a vehicle to move to storage it said, "are you sure you want to replace this vehicle?' click X for yes again and the duped Panto I entered with copied over the car that was suppose to be moved to storage. I got a yellow followed by a white spinning save in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Walked outside and called my mechanic to check garage contents and sure enough my original Panto and a dupe were both in the the garage they started out in.

Went back inside, grabbed another street car I had stored days ago and drove it to the garage I used for the fire glitch that had the original and a duped Panto inside.

Left the street car outside and went in on foot. Got in the duped Panto and drove it back to the garage that I was at before that's full of random street cars. Got the "this garage is full you must transfer a vehicle to storage" again, clicked X for yes and again once inside when I select a vehicle it asked are you sure you want to REPLACE this vehicle, X for yes again, then yellow followed by a white save rotation on bottom right of screen. Walked outside and called my mechanic and saw my Panto was indeed back to it's original garage. I was able to repeat it 11 times before I called it a night and went to bed.

Today I couldn't even get the fire glitch to work in the mission but was able to dupe one Panto by just pulling it into a full garage while alone in a friends only session and doing what I wrote above.

 

 

I'm on to something here, just got to figure out how to make it work every time.

When it don't work you just get the "are you sure you want to move this vehicle to storage" pop up while your in your garage selecting a vehicle like your suppose to.

What you describe should have been patched 2 days ago. R broke the storage function while trying to patch a glitch.

It worked easily last night but couldn't get the fire glitch during the mission to work today to see if it even has anything to do with it.

I did manage to make one copy today but think that was just luck since I couldn't repeat it.

This revised 'I got that fire' method, I've stayed away from. Freighttrain is saying he gets it regularly. Others report it is intermittent at best. Reminds me of the store any car method right before the Independance DLC last year. It was possible, but difficult and unreliable. Took me many tries to get it to work and I only stayed at it because I wanted something.

 

Until a new method comes out, I'm not revisiting this one. I'd have to move back to Poplar street and set back up. It's just not worth it for 1 in 25 or 1 in 50 tries. To even go there, I'd have to REALLY want something and there isn't anything that fits that bill.
