seeing as this isnt an appreciation thread, its a porcshe, thats why its an awful car, in a league of german car manufacturers, porcshe is behind audi, bmw, mercedes and volkswagen, its not even a proper car, in game its slow and far too rear happy, theres no balance of weight or handling

Hate? One of the most fun, if not the most fun car to drive in the game. I love it, have two. One inspired by the Turbo S.

 

 

and one inspired by the GT3.

 

Those look really nice. I love the Gray one.

So every modifiable car in the game, besides EV's, are turbocharged? Even the ones that are from eras predating turbocharging? Even the ones that sport Supercharged badges?

 

 

 

I'm going to assume you're either stupid by birth or English isn't your native language, which is why you're having difficulty with this:

 

"Turbo tuning:" It's a wonderful catchall where cars that aren't turbocharged can get one (thus, "tuned with a turbo") and cars that do have them by default get to have their "turbochargers tuned for better performance."

 

 

And how does any of that prove the Comet is turbocharged as stock? I'm willing to admit I'm wrong, but I need more than BS personal opinion. I can't find anything anywhere that says it's turbocharged, and I've looked. My non-turbo-tuned Comet doesn't sound the least bit turbocharged to my ears. It sounds like a proper flat six with a high red line to me, which is why I modeled mine after a GT3 RS.

 

Here is the underside of my personal Comet, perhaps you could point out the turbo for me.

 

 

Of course, if you have any idea what a turbocharger is or how it works, you might notice a glaring issue with the above pic.

Because it's such a downgrade from IV's Comet, which was one of the fastest cars in the game. It also has that unremovable spoiler.

Pretty much this. A great car? Definitely, I had one for months and I'm seriously considering buying it again when I get the chance, but it really fell from grace compared to the Comet in GTA IV. Plus, the un-removable spoiler is really terrible.

 

I'm still hoping Rockstar adds more Pfisters/Porschers in the near future. It might never happen, but I can dream.

Porsche and Audi are both subsidiaries of VW. it's not that they're not comparable. It's that they're all built for different purposes. Most of the tech and mechanical development that's gone into them nowadays is pretty much identical and really the only differences are left up to manufacturer discretion. There's nothing inferior about Porsche compared to the others as you say, just different.

It's the same place as the dual turbos on the Stratum and the missing two cylinders that make your Comet a GT3, I guess.
