It's a beautiful car and easily the best looking car torn directly out of GTAIV, but there are so many cars that drive so much better...

That's true but I'm really tired of people only racing Jesters and Massacros.

911's are my favorite cars and i love how it looks 90% like one. it's just those f*cking rear lights that annoys me. why did they have to scoop the back end out like that too. if they made it more like irl then i would drive one all the time

people will always race the fastest car which is why rockstar screwed over the slow ones instead of putting actual stats on each.

Personally, I never liked any of the Comets in the franchise. Vice City had a decent one but the rest weren't good in my opinion. The car seems a little feminine to me because of its small size & round edges (including headlights). Driving is okay & there's definitely a learning curve. However, I've seen some sexy Comets & 911s. It's all down to personal preference.

i recently bought one. but the spoiler is ugly and for some reason i'm missing the "fun" to drive. don't get me wrong, it's not about the speed for me. but it's missing something in my opinion. thinking about selling it, but i might keep it cause it looks pretty nice, if i had a current gen console i would certainly keep it because of the interior.

It sounds pretty nice too. I think it has a unique engine sound, not sure though.

but once you hear the SlamVan, you never want anything else anymore...

 

Slamvan's engine sound is nice too but my favorite is the Roosevelt

I think hate is a too strong of a word, rather people dislike the Comet because they find it too difficult to master.

 

I'm pretty sure people do actually HATE it because people always call it a piece of sh*t, a gay car, etc.

Fair enough and yes I've seen the same posts and also the same type of comments to describe many different cars in GTA. My point was I think those people aren't using the correct word/s to describe the car. The word hate is just trendy at the moment, I see it all over GTAFourms. Just like the word gay is often used to describe something bad or wrong, etc.

 

Anyways regarding the car, I love it. Now that I've got enough garage space I won't be selling it again for the fourth time :)

Overall, I like the car, but the design is basically a screwed up 911. I want one that resembles the real thing a little more. The back end is what REALLY needs to change and even the front end could use some mending. Either way, own one and love its handling

They could've given it a lot better tuning options... Wish it would have a secondary color stripe like the Infernus (had) to give it a little RS3 feeling. Oh well...

Yeah, I wish it had the stripe too. It would look perfect on my gray Comet since I was trying to get that GT3 RS look

Comet, Bullet GT, and Banshee. Those are the 3 cars I will never own as I find them all inferior compared to the GTA 4 versions. I cant stand the way the Banshee sounds as it used to be my favourite car in GTA 4.

Man, I really hate the Bullet compared to GTA IV and even earlier. I probably like the Banshee a little more than I used to though. The Comet has always been a kind of a neutral car for me - neither love nor hate (I guess my only problem with it was how 80% of people would race with it in GTA IV).
