Why do people hate the Pfister Comet?

 

It does slide around a little but with a little practice, it actually becomes really easy to drive. Some say that it's ugly. Well, I personally think it's beautiful.

Because it's such a downgrade from IV's Comet, which was one of the fastest cars in the game. It also has that unremovable spoiler.

True but it's still pretty fast.

Just because you "almost won" with catchup and slipstream on in a comet means nothing. You can win with catchup and slipstream on in a bullet vs all Zentornos it just depends on how bad/good the other guys are and how bad/good you are.

 

Not saying the comet is slow, I think it's fast and a nice car.

It looks okay and it can be a good perfomer if you learn how to drive it but that unremoveable spoiler is seriously bugging me.

i recently bought one. but the spoiler is ugly and for some reason i'm missing the "fun" to drive. don't get me wrong, it's not about the speed for me. but it's missing something in my opinion. thinking about selling it, but i might keep it cause it looks pretty nice, if i had a current gen console i would certainly keep it because of the interior.

I don't usually race with slipstream, I usually race non-contact, but yea I get what you're saying.

It sounds pretty nice too. I think it has a unique engine sound, not sure though.

Spoiler un-removable without it, it looks sexy but the ugly ass spoiler ruins the car.

They're not that bad, it's just like most of the Muscle class, once you've mastered cornering on a partial throttle , you're golden.

One of favorite drives around town. Then again I raced the RUF on iRacing for an entire season and fell madly in love. As a kid I alwayed loved the early 80's 911's too. Those big fat fender GT racers. Mmmmmm So the car has a very soft spot for me.

Yeah, we really need an option to remove spoilers. I still put spoilers on because I race a lot though.

Slamvan's engine sound is nice too but my favorite is the Roosevelt

I've never heard anyone say they hate it. But I rarely hear anyone talking about it in general. Definitely an underrated and nostalgic car like the banshee. I might buy one if you can take the spoiler off.
