Algonquin Assassin
Just to bring this thread up again and I apologise if it's been brought up before, but I just got to thinking... Is the eerie Doe initially seen in Max's lighthouse nightmare meant to be Rachel's spirit? I never thought about it much on my first play through, but now I think about it after seeing it again after Chloe and Max discovering her body it has to mean something. On another note I'm actually surprised how well Jefferson keeps a low profile. There is nothing at all to suggest he's the killer. Even on this play though I never noticed any cracks so to speak. The story telling in this game is so superb. I was hit harder for some reason with the reality where Chloe was in the car accident. Just love the interaction between characters in this game. Like I said Chloe and Max feel so real. I hope they do a season 2.. Edited November 9, 2015 by PulpFiction ClaudeSpeed1911

Some say the doe is meant to be Max's since she is in allot of scenes for her but your theory does make sense I agree with the accident reality, the reason Max did what she did was to make Chloe happy but seeing her like that really made everything she did wrong. It really makes you think how hard time traveling is, one small mistake makes you and you will screw the whole timeline.

PoeticWhisper
It's been a little over 2 months since Life is Strange Episode 5 came out. As I sit here and listen to the games soundtrack, I can say I don't know how a game could leave such a long lasting impact on me. Just through the music, you are reminded of such a heart-wrenching, tormenting yet extravagant, beautiful, honest masterpiece. I haven't even gone to look at the other ending of the game because I don't think I can handle it honestly. *Spoiler here* Chloe's death Nor have I gone to get the rest of the optional photo's in Episode 5, cause I haven't loaded up the game since I finished it. I can't bring myself to experience that again. It might be a long time before I ever do, because it brings such an odd feeling in my gut. Truly one of the most impactful games I have ever played. I cannot fathom how truly real it is, how much it dips into up-most nostalgia and speaks directly into your soul. It's so hard for me to let go, but I don't think I ever want to. I really do think I will remember this game forever, how it made me feel, whether it's the peaceful feeling Episodes 1-3 gave me, or the pure heart-wrenching torture episode 4-5 gave me. No matter what it is, no matter how I think about it, hear it, see it. The feelings come back, and they make me feel like I'm floating on water. Life truly is Strange man. Spider-Vice
Same here, even though I have experienced both endings and did take all the optional pictures for Episode 5. This game is really unique, it challenged a lot of people psychologically and I think is one of the only games to make you think about your own god damn existence. Did you choose (highlight) bae or bay? Did you choose (highlight) bae or bay? Bae af No way I was letting Chloe die, and from what I heard the ending where you do is sad as f*ck. I already watched Chloe die once before, I couldn't do it again. The wait between Episode 4 and 5 I was just waiting to see a way to save her, I kept saying "She can't be dead, no, we can do something, we have to do something". I said it since the beginning, I wanted the game to end, with Max and Chloe still alive and still together; and I did.
Spider-Vice
Yeah, I also chose bae, because I just couldn't let her die. That whole scene before I had to make the decision killed me emotionally, sh*t, I never thought I would nearly cry playing a game, everything was so god damn intense and real that I just couldn't go back and let her die. I would recommend watching the other finale though just so you see how that closure is...... ClaudeSpeed1911
Can I mention how intense that nightmare scene is Its one of the only scenes that made uneasy while playing. Its comparable to the first time one plays Manhunt. Algonquin Assassin and Spider-Vice
Tech-Noir
Game beat Walking Dead Season 2 for me along with Game of Thrones, and it made Tales of the Borderlands completely irrelevant. Just wish the ending decision was harder to make. While the decision shocked me, saving Arcadia Bay was the way to go. I wasn't going to let Joyce, Warren, Frank, and others die if fate was never meant to be changed in Chloe's favor. Spider-Vice
A fan-made podcast has managed to secure an interview with Hannah Telle, the actress who voices Max. Worth a listen, even though don't expect anything too professional, as it is fan-made and the questions are taken from the LiS subreddit: They have also managed an interview before with Dayeanne Hutton, who voiced Kate: Edited January 4, 2016 by Spider-Vice GTANet | Red Dead Network | 🌲 black lives matter | stop Asian hate | trans lives = human lives the beginning is moments ago, the end is moments away
IDredMan
I just beat Life is Strange. Oh my f*cking game, the game is amazing. In every f*cking way. Except the motherf*cking bottles, which is somehow the hardest thing in videogame history. Dark Souls better watch its f*cking back. I never thought I'd be so invested in the life of a teenage girl (A character who just turned 18 is an excuse to have them technically count as adults but still look and act like teens, so she's a teen in my mind) in college. I f*cking stood up, out of my chair and walked all around my room during the f*cking Kate negotiation. I threw me hands in the air in celebration when I saved her, cause I'm a f*cking badass for saving her! The timef*ck at the end was a highlight of the game for me, really enjoyed it. Among many other moments. I f*cking imploded at the ending decision. I wanted to just... God f*cking damnit. Is it too much to ask for things to work out? Why couldn't I keep the reality where Max wins the contest, everyone is saved and loves her, but no tornado? Oh well. But, the real highlight of the game. The absolute best part, which you can't even argue with... Tali vas Normandy, Spider-Vice and PoeticWhisper
trip
Yeah, this game took me by surprise. I'm almost done. It is way out of my demographic and I feel kind of weird playing it but I'm enjoying it. It would be nice to see this Unreal fueled engine turn out more of these story driven decision games. Telltale can continue using their great TTG engine and do what they do and this new engine can keep doing it how they are doing it (you know...semi-open, near full on tool walking controls and such). This game feels more open than telltale games too, which really helps with interactivity. You can pretty much explore some pretty big open spaces, when compared to Telltale which is usually pretty tight corridors, or single rooms. Also, things like photo's and having those spots where you can sit down and listen to music in a cinematic is also some of the best parts of the game. God I love this game. trip
Yeah the game is totally great. I like to think there is easily room for these two players in the choose your own adventure category. Nottonod(?) and Square can do these nice wide rail, choose your own adventure games while TTG games does the licensed stuff... graphic novel twists in their unique way. As great as Life is Strange is you have to admit the Telltale people are better on the writing side. Not at all taking away from how good LiS is but it is pretty much like an advanced Beverly Clearly novel. IDredMan
Okay, comparing this to Telltale's games is, well... Fair. In this game, there's a major emphasis on the 'Everyday Heroes' theme. Which is why most of your choices are clear. One is good, and heroic, and is clearly the 'right' thing to do... While the other is selfish, and comes at the expense of others. Choosing the good one always results in you being heroic, no matter what. And choosing the other one, you're guilt tripped about it every time, but it also makes you profit in some way. But when it comes to Telltale, there's no clear good or bad, right or wrong. Every character just has their own agendas, and the choices are more gray. I'm reminded of one of the final choices of the first episode Tales From The Borderlands. I won't go into too much details, as to not spoil anything. But a character who has wronged you has a McGuffin, that is about to blow up in his face (literally). So you're given an option to warn them, or tell them to "choke on it". Both those options come from emotions. Those who chose to warn him, did it because of the sliver of hope they had of getting the not-blown-up McGuffin back, and those who chose the other option did it out of spite. They both worked, in their own terms. Mainly because LiS made you feel that you had a responsibility to do good unconditionally with your powers at every given chance. While TT Games put you against the world. Spider-Vice
FullMetal
A a fellow geek advised me to play this (and I advised her to play Telltale TWD). Finished it a couple of weeks ago. And yes, I cried a couple of times (and those were more than just a couple of times really). I hate loving these kind of game and I love hating what it does to me. Yes there's more of a good/bad in LiS. TWD/TT is just more of 'how do you justify your decision'? You can actually support any action in TWD/TT games to be a 'good' one. It's just how you support that decision. But apart from the ending in LiS. It's clear which ending was the better of the two (hey, giving one ending alot more cutscene material clearly shows which one the developers thought was the 'right' choice). Whilst I actually found the other option the 'right' one (because of... reasons). ClaudeSpeed1911 and Spider-Vice

They screwed up pretty bad with Walking Dead Season 2 and got real lazy in Game of Thrones unfortunately. I know some people feel they made it for it with Tales from the Borderlands but since I prefer the dramatic and emotional storylines of the other games only Wolf Among Us seemed perfect. Tech-Noir
Pretty cool, but all the artbooks I have from limited editions I look at them once and never look at them again so I'd be wasting my money if I bought that. The soundtrack is probably the coolest thing about it. I wish games came with their soundtracks regardless like how Persona 4 came with its soundtrack, such a neat addition thanks to the developers. PoeticWhisper
As much as I don't care for the content in his art, people are free to draw what they want. I also cannot deny how nicely they're drawn, cause they're really well done. Also compared to most of the internet, even for just Life is Strange art, there is so much worse, lol. pyramid head
Episode 1 finished episode 2 here i come, great game love it so far, it did take me a while to figure out what to do at the lighthouse at the end of the first episode, i thought the solution to getting across to the bench was to use the top part of the lighthouse as a stepping stone after 20 rewinds i looked it up on youtube, that piece of wood blocking the path is not something i would have considered as an obstacle to getting across, the only reason i didn't take any notice of the piece of wood was because i had the camera pointed up at the lighthouse. 2 things i have in common so far with Max We both like photography We both think Final Fantasy The Spirits Within is one of the best sci-fi films ever made in our opinion.
