Nice looking Matte Pearl paints out there?

You guys have any nice Matte pearlescents? i cant find any that i like much

Any matte paint with white pearlescent gives a nice satin finish, particularly nice with light grey, black etc. As for tvr style colour mixes, I've never really been a fan.

The point of a matte finish is a flat-colored vehicle...just because you can glitch a pearl on it doesn't mean that it looks good, I haven't seen any

Matte paint still has a nice shine to it, it just doesn't allow any harsh specular reflections. As said above, if you use a pearl like frost/ice white, you can make the matte finish look a lot nicer, as IMO, the matte paint on its own in GTA is sh*t.

Example: Matte black, doesn't allow specular reflection like gloss paint, but allows 'some' light to reflect, leaving it with a 'smooth' look.

 

 

The matte paint in GTA doesn't look this nice without a pearl, even if it's a more subdued pearl, like silver.

There aren't many but I think matte dark red with a red pearlescence is quite nice.

Car has to have exquisite lines for Matte Paint. Only a select few cars should have Matte paint in game and even more so IRL.

 

However I like Sea Green with a Matte Black. The only pearl-matte finish I've liked.

My cavalcade with matte black, lime pearl, and lime metallic seconday looks good, imo. Matte red and torino pearl looks great on my pcj. Midnight purple matte and...ultra blue (?) pearl is good on my Thrust.

 

The best ones are dark mattes with brighter pearls.

the best paint options to glitch pearl onto are the metals...brushed black steel looks good with bright colours

Someone did black with salmon pink - one of the few I've seen that look good...it's a softer colour so it looked like a light shimmer...rather than a flash of something garish

I have a few good ones for you. Personally, I only like to add a pearlescent to matte paints if it enhances the colour.

• Matte midnight purple and Ultra Blue/Nautical Blue pearlescent.
• Matte Dark Red and Torino Red pearlescent
• Matte Straw Brown and Cream pearlescent
• Matte Grey and Silver.

 

If used properly, matte and pearlescent can produce some great colours.

Matte silver with a silver pearl looks boss on a Zentorno. I have one like that.

 

The trick to matte paint is to lessen the matte. So red with red silver with silver. Bright green on green or silver on green etc.

I was sure I had followed the topic but it no longer in the Topics I follow section.

 

OT: Have you tried Matt Purple with Ice White Pearl and Matte Black Secondary

 

Others I like are Matte Black with Matte Orange and Matte Black with Ice White Pearl and Matte Lime Green secondary

 

Also Matte Dark Blue with Sunrise Orange Pearl Secondary is good too.

No pics avaliable atm but my Entity is Matte Black only, with black wheels and limo windows. I call it the scud. I have a Jackel in Matte Orange also with Black wheels.
