Phoenix vs mañana

Recommended Posts

I'd choose the Phoenix. It has cool mods, a beastly engine sound, and it's a Firebird.

I like the Mañana for cruising and its engine sound.

As for them spawning, I seem to find more Mañanas than Phoenixes on PS4. If you're on PS4 and want one of them, I'll keep a look out for you.

CrysisAverted

I like them both although I only own the phoenix

Every time I drive by a Manana I just have to steal it and go crusin' for a bit

They both suck for performance compared to their respective class top 5 so it all comes down to what you wan't aesthetically.

They both have their own unique look, so that comes down to you since looks are subjective.

I like both of them... The Manana handles better, but the Phoenix is a lot faster (or seems like it at least)

I gotta give it to the Phoenix. It's my favorite car in the game.

And in terms of racing you can win with it in muscle car races... whereas the Manana doesn't really stand a chance against other sports classics. It is more competitive than the Peyote or Tornado, but just barely.

The good thing about the Manana on current gen consoles, though, is that it now has a way more appropriate interior (yes, it's the same one that almost all the muscle cars have) but it matches it way more than what it had on ps3 / 360... the old one was way too mid-late 80's looking for the car.

Infamous Deathlok

Phoenix hands down. As for people saying "only if it doesn't have a spoiler", you can take the spoiler off in LSC using the old quick scroll thing that was used to do to get a bedless ratloader. Just did it last week. One of my favorite cars in the game.

Yeah, me too. I know how to do it with the Rat Loader and I swear I've tried it a few times with the Phoenix but never got it to work.

I personally think it looks best with the stock spoiler, but it would be good to know.

Nevermind... just got it. Buy the Mid-level spoiler, then press up / down quickly a few times in the spoiler menu (going between "none" and "mid level spoiler" and it will disappear. When you see that happen, just select the option it landed on.

Yeah, that's how you do it. You can also put the bear on the bodhi as well as remove the fenders and hood from the hotknife. There are quite a few "hidden mods" you can find with it on different vehicles.

I tried that in online on ps3 and it didn't work.

as for the OP's question, I'd point out that the two are world's apart. The manana is like the titanic, so you might as well be driving around with a big bullseye target on your forehead. At least with the phoenix, you have enough power to attempt an escape.

I'm on ps4 been driving from the docks to mirror park, I was gonna pick up whichever spawns first but having no luck for some reason

Try the gang areas instead. The area where Franklin lines, down to Grove Street, in and around there. Both cars will spawn in that area.
