Stock rims colour change

[Arrows to Athens]

I was gonna slap on some new rims on my Elegy. I aready had race yellow rim on it so when I decided to go on the sports section, I hovered over the stock wheels option and the current colour stuck to the stock rims. It looked fantastic as it gave it a unique gold look so I spent 5k on it to realise that the colour finally goes away once you purchase it. Wtf why? What a waste of 5k too. Did this work before?

It's been patched.

it does with ifruit

Put on non stock wheels

 

Then change wheel color

 

Then apply stock wheels with ifruit

Ifruit method doesn't work for me. Tried with the Vacca.
