Did they ever mention what the payouts for the heists could be?

Recommended Posts

I really dont care for cash payouts, giving special stuff for completing heists would be much better. Like Cargobobs for those who couldnt get it when it was available, or a fourth garage, or new kinds of armors, or a month of free Merryweather services, a fully customized car of your choice, etc.

Its gonna be cash tough :p

The payouts and how often you can do the heists remain a mystery as much as the release date..

This, I don't understand why people come here thinking that the GTAF community has answers for these questions.

Do they think R* gives us secret info or something?

There are Payouts for both the Set-up Missions and the Final Heist (at least according to the IGN Preview Article; although this would have been vetted by R*)...I see no reason why the Set-up Mission Payouts will not use the same Payout System as Missions do now (after all Heists will be Level Locked to at least Rank 12)...The final Payout will be larger and there is suggestions in the IGN Article that Multipliers will apply depending on Team (or Individual maybe) performance during the Heist.

Would expect the Final Heist to payout between 50 - 150k; still chump change when this is the price of a Turbo, Bulletproof Wheels and EMS 4 Upgrade yet you have either Robbed a Bank or Stolen Military Technology.

there's heist trailer alongside the cut

why bother to make a thread ?

don't forget , as member ( not a leader ) get bonus paycheck for every preperations complete while leader only at heist aftermath but bigger cut than most of members

If you watch the trailer carefully, two payouts are shown: $550k and $670k. This is then divided up as the leader of the heist sees fit (expect leader getting ~50%, as they need to pay the set-up costs, and only get paid at the end, while the other members get paid at the end of the individual missions).

These are the payouts known so far. Keep in mind that it will be split among the members - so what you'll earn won't be the quantity in the whiteboard, but will instead be a fraction of it. Say, 100k for the 670k job if you're a hired gunman, or 360k if you're the leader.

Which would mean that the highest payout would be around ... 700k-ish for the leader in the 1.5m job? Dunno.

It also says itll be the easist money you will ever make... Does that mean we just drive to bank pick up money and thats done? Because selling a gang car is that easy.

Youre just speculating

How is any of that speculation? You have two rendered images showing how much the payout is, and it being divided up (with a much larger chunk going to the leader than everyone else), and everything else comes from the IGN interview that came alongside the trailer!

IIRC that's information taken from the IGN interview with the programmers in charge of creating the heists.

Here it is:

The reason the leader gets more is because you need to put up major coin to prepare for the heist. Fail an you stand to lose big money. I do t expect heists to be profitable at all. I expect a headshot from a super bot and lose 200k lol.

On the far right of the whiteboard there seems to be a tick box followed by green text. It does kinda look like money that a player invests into the heist. Can't tell if the one we are looking at reads $6000 or not, assuming the first one is a dollar sign, the middle thing looks blurry and not sure if it's two 0's or one, or perhaps it's $6100.

As long as we unlock a t-shirt saying "lol eye dun a hist" using a glitchy graphics logo with a trendy font that is badly compressed and disappears shortly after wearing once, I will be happy.

The payouts will depend on the hist leader.

I thinking of 1%, 1%, 1% and 97% when I'm leading the hist.

But I'm not too fussed. The payouts in general are good and I've got enough GTA $. I'm just happy for some free playable content.

The pics above make it look like the money will be OK, But we havent seen the final product yet
