State of Emergency 3.

Nah, I'm just kidding! Bully 2, followed by Red Dead and Max Payne, then Manhunt.

I think Agent is probably dead. I'm sure there's been talk on here of parts of the coding in V pointing to a DLC that's based around political assasinations and espionage. Maybe R* have used some of their Agent ideas here?

As for RDR 3, it's such a big IP now that like a new GTA, I think we're going to know some time in advance when a new one is coming.

I'd really like a brand new IP with some fresh ideas.

I would love to see a GTA VI where you are able to create your own gang in story mode. You can choose the gang colors and maybe the clothes of your gang members. The city would also have multiple NPC gangs and territories which you can capture by clearing it out or doing a mission. Capture airfields, piers, building like stripclubs, pay n spray, stores etc. In your captured territory there would be gang members walking and driving around and fighting against enemy gang intruders. I would also like to see that you can either choose the crime or the law side, or a character on both sides. As cop you could clear out gang territories and make it a save place or help the other story mode character.

Would like GTA VI (6) to do something with this.

Bully 2

... on a side note, GTA VI really shouldn't be on this list. How dumb can someone be to really think that GTA VI is gonna be Rockstars next game, come on, use some brain!

Whatever it is, I just prey they make it open-world and develop their first-person ideas, cos no one makes em better *

From everything I've read, I think it will be a new Red Dead game. I wouldn't be surprised to see it announced not long after GTA V is released on PC. The publisher, Take Two, is there to make money. Red Dead Redemption sold well (and was awesome) so it's their best bet since GTA VI won't be there until a couple of years.

As a gamer, a follow-up to RDR is also what I'd like to see the most. That or Bully 2. Anyway I just hope it won't be some DLC for GTA5 online... as much I as liked GTA5, I moved on...

Again from what I've read (on gamespot among other sites), an announcement is definitely coming in 2015. But then again... with Rockstar nothing would surprise me. Except a sequel to Manhunt, table tennis, wild metal or the warriors... as I don't see that happening. Making a new game for ps4, xbox 1, etc. takes a lot of time and ressources so they have to make sure it sells well... Plus I believe they've been working on a new Red Dead game since early 2011. Probably started developping for xbox360 and ps3, now they have to make versions for current-gen as well. Don't know if it will still come out on prev-gen but one can hope. Personally I would buy a new Red Dead on ps4.

Just my 2 cents as a long time gamer, Rockstar Games lover and video game industry observer.

I voted Bully 2 because I'm being optimistic...

I would like Rockstar to take the risk and try another kind of game that's not set in an open world. Make a game that's story-driven and completely different from the typical GTA formula. Maybe that's what they do best, but until when? although they still can do fresh things with every new GTA or even any game based on the GTA formula, RDR as an example, I can't deny the fact that this formula is stagnant and it has already been copied by so many other developers.

Just take a break and make something different. What about Agent? I imagine that this game can be very story-driven and is set in open environments, not open world, something like the environments in a Hitman game. A cold war game, what do we have? spying, intelligence, gathering information, stalking, counterintelligence, industrial espionage, investigations and interrogations, what else? you can do new, fresh and out-of-the-oven gameplay mechanics. You have an amazing concept, atmosphere, a story with a high potential and a barely explored era in gaming.

Just do something else. Would you?

If they were to make a minor GTA, I'd hope it would be a TLaD/TBoGT type expansion pack rather than it's own game. GTA V completely lacks any quality story DLC.

I'd want a serious GTA V DLC before a third RD just to prove that Rockstar can still take their games seriously. I mean, imagine if RDR was a sitcom game like vanilla V?

They're most likely to re-release Red Dead Redemption in the coming mounths, the announcement of a sequel shouldn't take too long either.

I would like to see a re-release of some of the last-gen games like RDR and MP3. But apart from that I'd love to see if AGENT is ever coming out.

I wouldn't expect a re-release of Red Dead Redemption, I think it simply doesn't need it. Grand Theft Auto V did, because the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 hardware didn't give enough justice to such a massive game as Grand Theft Auto V, so it's quite different.

As I've already said on multiple occasions, the game I'd like to see most is Agent. I'm really fascinated by its concept. You know you could expect nothing but great things from a Stealth game that "takes players on a paranoid journey into the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations during the height of the Cold War at the end of the 1970's".

Manhunt 3.

With the technology and graphical improvements today, just imagine the gore and nasty things they could do with it!

RDR 3, Max Payne 4, or Bully 2 would be awesome.

Rockstar's games have made headlines in the past for their gratuitous violence, but the GTA developer says it can envisage a future where no gunplay whatsoever features in its titles.

When asked by The Guardian whether it would ever make a gun-free game, development VP Jeronimo Barrera said "absolutely", pointing to forthcoming crime epic L.A. Noire as its first title to dip its toes into more contemplative waters.

"We're flirting with that in this game – there are cases when you never draw a gun or chase a criminal," he explained.

"It's something that's going to happen sooner than later. I have children and when we get together as a family we play games, we don't watch TV. We're a generation that's always been around interactivity, and in the future something like L.A. Noire could be broadcast directly onto your cable set-top box. It's the future.

I hope that he doesn't mean Table Tennis!

What I'm worried about is when people have children they become more conservative. Not all the time but in a lot of cases the experience of having a child triggers all these sudden "dangers" that they don't want their kid(s) exposed to. You hear about actors every now and then changing the tone of films they appear in because they have kids. Bunch of bullsh*t. I just hope Rockstar isn't heading for the middle-aged territory of mediocrity. Like a good rock band that hits middle age and they tone it down and don't take risks. I think Rockstar may have peaked in boldness around 2004 with the release of San Andreas. Ever since they've seemed to play a more toned down approach with V almost like your embarrassing middle-aged, drunk uncle at a party dancing his socks off and creeping on the friends of his niece - "I still got it" :p He can still be a lot fun to hang out with but he's just trying a little too hard.

Whatever Rockstar do next, I just hope it's something fresh. One thing about open-world games like RDR and GTA is that the the allure of exploring new territory will never cease to burn out. I'd love Rockstar to dabble in more stealth and actually make it work. :D

The timing is right for a RDR sequel. It's been five years since it's release, which was the time between GTA IV and GTA V. Of course that depends on Rockstar having began work on a sequel soon after RDR's release.

Well, in that case, we will have to wait to see what R* San Diego have up their sleeves. :)

I can see why they aren't really pushing GTA too far but times have changed now
