Next Rockstar game after RDR2?

After they release GTA V for PC in March, they will finally be done with GTA V (unless they plan to release GTA V for WiiU/Dreamcast/PS1/Gameboy/Nintendo DS/NES/SNES/Sega Genesis/Atari 2600 etc.)

 

What do you think will be their next game?

 

Possible GTA V single player story DLC doesn't count.

 

I personally would like them to do Bully 2, but if I were to guess I would say Agent or RDR sequel

 

 

Now that RDR2 has been officially announced, what do you think will be Rockstar's next game after it?

I want to see a new IP from Rockstar. A break from the GTA, and the Max Payne. Something that will really demonstrate their creativity and their "43 years worth of ideas" Agent sounds promising, and I'm very much looking forward to it.

It's too hard to know but i'll be happy if it's either Red dead word beginning with R, bully 2, max Payne 4 or maybe midnight club although probably not. Manhunt 3 would be a surprise.

Looking at this realistically, Rockstar has said that there won't be another Midnight Club game, so that one is out of the picture. Manhunt is a little much for Rockstar in this day and age. Rockstar is known to push boundaries, of course, but looking back at Manhunt it was very disturbing with those old graphics. With an HD resolution, I can't see Rockstar pushing a very linear, straight forward mission type, and non extension plot story as one of their new followups to GTA V. Obviously we're not going to have another GTA game right after the release of GTA V, so that's gone. It hasn't even been 5 years since Max Payne 3 or LA Noire, so I think that will come in the next 2-4 years. Either another Red Dead or Agent will most likely debut this year. I'm going with Agent because it was hinted at over 7 years ago and Rockstar obviously is continuing to work on it because it's listed as a game on their website. Red Dead is also likely because it has been about 5 years since the release. I find Agent more probable because it's be in the works for about 8 years and if Rockstar is making any other game then they'll be just running off of sequels, other than LA Noire.

If Agent finally comes out, it's gonna be a PS4 exclusive most likely.

Unless they will also release it on PS3, but I doubt it.

I would like a new Red Dead game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Anyway, I really hope to see Agent next, it seems to be a very interesting game, and I think a new IP would bring a lot of freshness to the already amazing collection of Rockstar Games' masterpieces - I'm pretty faithful about it. Humorously, the secretiveness behind this project fits perfectly its concept.

They knew back then in 2011 about the PS4 coming, R* and SONY are pretty tight. They knew damn well, after the success of RDR, that they "have to" continue the franchise. At that point though they also knew they had to take one last stab at last gen again, as in go crazy and launch the "citizen kane" of video games. They must have planned to continue the Red Dead franchise on "current gen" once they were done with last gen....now time has come!
